You're not even close. I'll be seventy-five on Valentine's Day. As Tony Horton, who created the wonderfully grueling P90X workout program I love so much, once said, "Aging is for those who don't know any better." I exercise six days a week -- three days doing 45 minutes each on my treadmill and three with heavy iron resistance training. And for the record, 2023 has been the busiest and best of my production company's long history. Work helps keep me young. I believe in the quote from playwright Noel Coward: "Work is much more fun than fun." That, and a quote from Norman Lear, who said about every project once he had completed it, "Over... Next." 🙂
As an aside, my mother went into labor on February the 13th. She vowed she would have a Valentine's Day baby. I was born at eight minutes past midnight and have been hopelessly romantic ever since. Romance is why the Good Lord created violin music and rose petals, and my wife of twenty-eight years has enjoyed plenty of both. 😉
Well I'll be damned. Congratulations to you on your 75 years and your good health!
Don't forget to congratulate him on his superior libido!
Don't need it. Never have. Like I said, my nineteen-years-younger-than-me, drop-dead gorgeous crimson-haired, blue-eyed, pouty red-lipped Irish Angel is all I really need. Kim likes to joke that she needs B-12 shots to keep up with me. 🙂
About my Kim, after twenty-eight years of married bliss, I like to paraphrase the line from Mark Twain: "Wheresoever she goes, there is Eden." To which I always quickly add, "Trust me, she's got a pretty good deal, too... 😉
Watch The Quiet Man some day to get what I mean. You'll thank me.
My Christmas, my very good new friend. May the blessings of health, happiness and prosperity be upon you and all whom you love in the coming year and in years to come 🙂

$3.99 for figures like the Sorceress and Man-E-Faces is an amazing price. I wish I had a Ross near me.
The one thing I'm confused about is why is this happening? My Target sold out of those figures pretty fast and they never appeared again. Why didn't Mattel just restock Target and sell more at the normal pricing? I don't get it.
I can't wait to see Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom next week! 😀

2. Whether The Bangles will be nominated or hopefully win induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame someday.
3. A possible documentary about the band (much like the one by and about The Go-Go's).
4. What it is like working with the fabulous Charlotte Caffey from The Go-Go's (and fellow Bangle Vicki Peterson) and her friendship with the other fabulous all-girl band.
*While Susanna Hoffs is doubtful that The Bangles will record another album together, they have five in total, their most recent is 2011’s Sweetheart Of The Sun, she is putting together a documentary about the band after a busy year of releasing singles from her own archive.
*She’s also optimistic that the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame will soon recognize the group’s achievements and she admits it would be a “dream” to get in.
Frankly, it’s overdue. Her songs, both for the group and just for herself, are an eternal celebration:
“They’re all fueled by a strong emotion that I’m trying to find the words for.
"The Go-Go’s (who have already been inducted into the R&RHOF) were always an inspiration to me. When I peppered around record stores and the Whisky A Go-Go in the late 70s, I would see flyers for The Go-Go’s and would make time to see them perform.
Over the course of decades, I became friends with Belinda Carlisle and recorded with her and then I did a lot of songwriting with Charlotte Caffey. “Something That You Said” was one of those songs. The 90s served as a period where we had all moved on and were living different lives, but I never stopped writing songs.
Charlotte and I decided to make music together just for fun. There was zero competition. I was assuming I was just going to make another solo record, but then The Bangles decided to reunite and Vicki Peterson came in and helped finish the lyrics."

@longtooth this bothers me a lot too. I remember walking home from the bus stop as a kid and my parents never had to worry. Now it seems like the creepers have quadrupled and I can’t let my kids out of my sight. Also the fact that they are forcing certain agendas on our kids instead of letting them make up their own minds. I’m going to stop or else I won’t stop.
