Good morning, everyone.  Did I say “Morning?!”  Yep.  Eight A.M. and I’m actually awake – which is rare for me, considering  I usually write until one or two and night and have trouble blinking before ten or eleven.

But my Kim is hosting yet another event for the chamber of commerce she serves as president and CEO.  This one is a business expo with close to a thousand visitors registered so far and who knows how many will show up unregistered.  It’s an all-day event with an upscale mix-and-mingle when it’s over.  Lots of business people and politicians and I know it’s going to be amazing, so I’m going to arrive around ten to be supporting and hand with visitors.

Wow!  Episode 50!  What a milestone!

Thanks to everyone who’s been following my Vlog.  I hope it’s been interesting so far.  I’d say we’re about three-quarters the way through my journey, but there’s a lot of fun stuff still to come.

This installment is bit of a departure as I look back on what’s changed since the Golden Age of Television Animation as I prepare to serve on a panel at the Lake County Public Library’s Comicfest in Lake County, Indiana on Sunday.  Check out the episode to get an idea of what I’ll be covering at the fest.

@he-dad haha don’t get me wrong, I’ve thought about it. Life is funny. I came into my daughter’s life when she was turning 2 almost. I was 21. She’s now 25 married a year and a bit. My wife is 36 lol. So life is funky.

@thedoctor I LOVE FUNKY! 😆 Is your wife your daughter's biological mother bro? Probably not right? That would make her 11 and pregnant. Your daughter must get those comments when she is next to your wife where people ask if they are sisters. Your wife must love that. I would. Good for you! You are getting all this cool life stuff going on when you are still young and healthy. That is awesome. By time I become a grandpa I will be in adult diapers LOL

@he-dad My daughter is from a previous relationship, the woman I was with was a teen mom. My current wife and I don’t have kids. However, my wife and other daughter who is 21 get told they look alike sometimes. Im enjoying being the young grandpa. I can’t wait to be able to take her places.

@he-dad I’ve been collecting the Origins line for that reason. I have the DVD’s, comic, and story books with tapes for some for that reason. I hope she takes to it a bit.  

I just wanted to let you know I had a hospital check-up this week, and (what's left of) my feet are almost healed. In fact, the hospital doesn't need to see me for another month. Except for my usual fibromyalgia and arthritis and a bad earache at the moment, I am quite well and happy all things considered. 😀 

I just won a copy of the Official Cindy Busby 2025 Calendar in a contest by Cindy herself. For those who don't know Cindy, she is a fabulous actress who has appeared in many Hallmark movies. ❤️ 

I wish this annoying hot weather would end, I want a proper Autumn & Winter!
