@asterstar

I get what you're saying, Asterstar.  But I'm thinking that might be one of those things that looks better on paper than in reality.  As much as I love winter, cold weather and snow -- and I do -- imo, the problem with igloos is that at some point you need to give it up and go outside.  Brrrrrrrrrr!  😉

@theman Ha that is what a warm vehicle to quickly get into is for! I still want to stay close to civilization. In Aurora Alaska they have an ice hotel I am also interested in.

I'll try to get Kim on posting the pics this evening.  She's been on a heavy work period for the last week.

Fours days of near 40 weather, lots of rain and no sign of this letting up.  All icicles are gone and there are big patches of grass showing through the melting snow.  I hate when this happens.  In my youth, a thousand years ago, when we got twenty or thirty inches of snow it would remain on the ground until spring.  Times have changed.  🙁

We just got dumped on today! It snowed for close to 10 hours... and it looked beautiful!

If this keeps up for tomorrow, we may have a snow day come Monday! (And an extra day of skiing!!) 🙂
