it appears that we will get New Eternia Terror Claws Skeletor, Ninjor and 40th anniversary gold label She Ra in the next wave of figures, 17th I think

If so, that's great, as TC Skeletor was actually part of my own speculation regarding the upcoming virtual event. I'm surprised they've chosen to produce two variants of He-Man back to back over the last few years instead of a more balanced approach to their exploitation.

@yen1893 At least they're doing more Skeletor variants. Let me know when they get to NE Dragon Blaster.

actually, I am excited for Ninjor only...I dont care about She Ra at all...as for TC Skeletor, I dont know, I have 1 Skeletor and thats enough 4 me 🙂

If those rumours are true, then MV is getting more and more boring.

I was looking forward to seeing how they did DB Skeletor.

@smitty-81 New Eternia Dragon Blaster Skeletor is in my top 5 of wants in Masterverse. Super excited to see what he ends up looking like.

@yen1893 Glad the Snake men are finally arriving (kinda) in Masterverse.

Apart from Dragon Blaster Skelly, Ninjor is my other top want in NE, so I can't wait to see what he looks like.

Having said that, I'm hoping we get more '87 movie reveals for Masterverse. Let's wrap THAT faction up at least.

Wave 18 sounds great; wave 17.. ah well. Not interested in TC Skeletor, but I'll take the other two for sure. I wish they would consider re-releasing Webstor, still stings that he is missing on my shelf. But that guy was impossible to get. But hey, yet another Beast Man, good job Mattel o_O

@abaddon Not sure completing a faction is the goal for a brand like Masterverse, to be honest.

@Lasastard Webstor, Deluxe M.A.A (Revelation) & Stratos, three names I'll remember for their inaccessibility when I boarded the Masterverse train last spring. 

@lasastard I'm of the same thought regarding wave 17.  Wave 18, Teela and Kobra Khan are definite for me. It would be fantastic to see a reissue of Webstor and Stratos.  Here's hoping!

I've given up on Masks of Power Demons, Prince Dakon or Melaktha ever showing up in the Masterverse. They're gonna keep the A-List variants coming ... prove me wrong, Mattel.

I expect a Masterverse Amazon movie line next. Finishing the line is something meant for the direct market like the vintage origins figures. As long as Mattel's goal is to keep putting Masterverse in retal stores I don't think low interest characters is ever going to be their mission.

@mighty-thanos Unless, of course, they decide to pump them out periodically via their online store, as they do for some of their Origins figures (Demo-Man, Geldor...).

@onlyoneskeletor That is what I meant by direct market. If Masterverse became mostly a direct market line maybe we can see them complete something? Right now their main mission seems to be big chain retailers and I don't see that stopping not with this movie coming.

Oh how I'd love for Masterverse to become a direct market line. Maybe AFTER the movie is done and dusted. 

The one figure in Masterverse that has given me hope we might see more "low interest characters" is the Skelcon figure, but who knows?

Returning to the subject of Masterverse selections, for collectors like myself and @abaddon, there is indeed not much to get our teeth into; except perhaps their reinvented subline (New Eternia). It remains to be seen how far they'll go in refreshing their Motu line, but I have an idea where the stop sign might be...

I absolutely HATE how Mattel adds just a couple figures to a line, usually the 2 leaders, and then drops it.

Masterverse got Sun-Man & Pig-Head.  Where are the rest? I wanted to see how the other 8 characters would've looked in Masterverse.

It got NA He-Man, Skeletor & Slush-Head, where are the rest? And why did they feel that out of all the characters, Slush-Head deserved a figure?  I personally would have gone with Optikk. The only character I like from NA is Optikk.

Mattel stuck the CGI show's He-Man & Skeletor in the line. Only God knows why? Those 2 figures wasted 2 spaces that could have been New Eternia or some Snakemen.  

Masterverse got some of the 87 movie figures but they'll probably never make them all. The only character I liked from that movie is Saurod (and they immediately killed him off, just like Motherboard, HOW TYPICAL!). I have the Classics version & would love to see him in Masterverse. 

They made She-Ra, Catra & Frosta. I'm still waiting/hoping for the rest of the POP girls. 

But they just keep releasing the same characters over & over again like Man-At-Arms, Beast-Man, Mer-Man & Evil-Lyn. And more freakin Skeletors than we could ever want or need. 

So Turtles Of Grayskull is a big HELL NO! for me. I really want them to finish all the POP girls. I have all of them from Classics, I'm getting all the Origins & I really want to get them all in Masterverse.

Focus dammit, FOCUS! Finish what you start Mattel.

With Mattel's reveal event coming in 13 days, what are you hoping for?

I really hope they reveal:

1. More POP girls in Masterverse.

2. SNAKEMAN!!! Cobra Khan is supposed to be coming according to Toy Habits but I really want King Hiss & Lady Slither. My MOST WANTED is Masterverse Necro Conda but I doubt we'll ever get that one. I guess you'd call it a "pipedream".

3. Vintage style SCARE GLOW with a proper glow in the dark body. But if they made that I predict it would be the hardest Masterverse figure to get. If it's only available through Walmart FORGET IT. 

4. SWIFT WIND. We're getting a 2nd She-Ra (I think) now we NEED Swift Wind.

5. Mantenna.  But hopefully he'll look closer the original toy & not the goofy Disney/Filmation version that totally ruined the character IMO. New Eternia please!

6. Saurod. The only 87 movie figure I would buy.

7. More Rulers Of The Sun. That ship has probably sailed but I would like to finish the set, especially Hypno, Bolt-Man, Kikto & Duplico.

8. Vintage Collection Buzz-Off. Probably my #1 favorite MOTU character. Always want more of him. I always say Spikor is my favorite but I always try to army build Andreenids so I buy Buzz-Off the most. I have 5 Origins, 7 Masterverse, I don't collect Cartoon Collection (except for the females) but I'm definitely getting at least 4 Buzz-Offs and I want a new one for Masterverse. 

NO MORE SKELETOR, BEAST-MAN or MAN-AT-ARMS!!! Those guys need a vacation. lol  HE-MAN too! But we all know Mattel can't stop making him.

@onlyoneskeletor Yeah, I could see Mattel dropping Origins, Masterverse and Cartoon Collection in favour of a new MOTU line. A bit like what they did with Origins replacing Classics all those years ago ... 😏 🙄 

@sci-fitsunami Lady Slither is a HUGE want for me in Masterverse. As far as the rest go, I'd love more New Adventures that we didn't get in Classics (Hoove, Lizorr), more New Eternia (I'd love for the vintage line-up to be completed in THIS subline, at least plus some other characters like Prince Dakon, Masks of Power Demons, Lodar, etc, but that's MY pipedream) and a Jitsu for the Vintage Collection would be nice. 🙂 

• I would also like to see Mattel getting their shit together with brand new characters.  They have so many to choose from.  Dakon, Melaktha...even Tug-o-war!  As for the Snake Men.  I was thrilled to see Kobra Khan will be coming our way.  But why has it taken this long?  Oh, and no I do not need Pink Lace Panty He-Man, thanks.  

Toy Habits is reporting that Blade is coming to Masterverse. Dammit! Saurod is way coooler than Blade.
