Another problem I had with Masters of the Universe Revolution is why couldn't Queen Marlena rule? Why was it a rush to crown Prince Adam? Is it because Marlena was Earth born?
Marlena is not of the royal bloodline. She is the wife of the king, which makes her Queen consort. Succession falls to Adam, because he is the eldest descendant of Randor.
Eternia was really progressive so I gotta think it was because she was not a natural born Eternian.

I think if Randor had died while Adam was still very young they would have let Marlena take the throne.Â
