Psst! Super Shredder is up for Pre-Order on Walmart.com! I got in, pre-ordered, and got out without trouble. Last I checked, he was still available. 

@chrisa I got mine pre-ordered. I'm sure by April 1st my local Walmarts will start carrying MOTU again and one will have a big pile of Shredders.

My history with walmart pre-orders has been odd. Krang and Moss Man showed up in store before they ever shipped so I just picked them up and canceled the pre-order. Mer-Man, as far as I can tell, never went up for pre-order. Leatherhead... well that's a story:

I kept checking online looking for Mer-Man and suddenly he showed up available for order online. Not pre-order, showing available in store btu almost gone. I quickly bought one online for pickup. Had to go through a ridiculous amount of hoops. It would not let me arrange to just go into the store and get it I had to do pickup thorough curbside. That required me to download the stupid app to do it. (The e-mail said I could just click the enclosed link to confirm online, but the link instead took me to a page to download the app) Finally go through all that annoyance and the guy brings out the order.... and hand me Leatherhead instead of Mer-Man.

Yeah I had Leatherhead on pre-order but it said he wouldn't be coming until November. More to the point I was supposed to be getting Mer-Man. Told him it was the wrong item and after some back and forth explaining it was the wrong figure and no it is not acceptable to just give me a different one, He (clearly reluctantly) takes it back to find the right one. Some fifteen minutes later another (thankfully nicer and more understanding) guy comes out and says he looked everywhere and they don't have Mer-Man despite the site saying they had when I ordered. (it now says not available) They have other Leatherheads on the pegs though. So I have to go through the refund process for Mer-Man and file a complaint for wrong item delivered. Then turn around and go ahead and pay for a Leatherhead now rather than risk the pre-order getting canceled or messed up then cancel the pre-order. And I still have no Mer-Man.

He looked in the system and said they were supposed to be getting 8 of that figure in on Oct. 14 but sure enough I went in that day and nothing. Not available on the website. Checked back in store again a couple days later still empty peg.

I'm surprised at how little I like Snake Shredder, it's that weird headsculpt mostly but the heft of him is somehow strange too.

Hiss I'm definitely buying though. 

@lordofdestruction Wal-Mart's system sees all ToG deluxe figures as the same thing. They are part of an assortment. The same is true for most action figures and other more mundane items like candles and car air fresheners.

I found Leatherhead on the pegs at my local Walmart, I have yet to see Moss Man or Mer-man. I'm holding out hope that they'll show up en masse for Christmas, but at this point, I'm afraid we've been Duplico'd.

@chrisa at least your Walmart(s) still carry MOTU stuff. I'm stuck with 3 Walmarts with no MOTU at all and a Target that only has Origins and, sometimes, ToG deluxe.
