Definitely not opposed to Man-At-Arms getting a Deluxe version as I think the original release is still more in-line with the older style figures. As long as Mer-Man was going to be something new and interesting I'm not opposed to it. I just don't think he needs one.
Also @admin looks like Scare Mare and Deluxe Scareglow were shown off at Monsterpalooza alongside the new soft vinyl colorway for Scareglow. Planet Eternia Article and Pictures and Parks and Cons YouTube video on it.
WOAH! Dude! Thanks for posting this! Kind of hard to tell what’s going on with SG. The bones on the thighs have the sculpting exposed. Seems like they plan on dropping on a transparent thigh piece. Could be very cool.

No problem! And yes I had the same thoughts regarding Scareglow. His sculpting is coming across a bit strange without the paint apps. They could also be exposing the bones so they're more prominent when they're glowing in the dark against the black background of the thigh?
The sculpt on Scaremare is looking deadly. Apparently the wingspan is longer than they were originally planning. Might have to purchase it in the end. Especially if his mane is a nice translucent green.
Apparently we're getting some big new reveals at SDCC this year as well.

Wings that wide is seriously batshit crazy. It makes it so difficult to display. Translucent GITD will be a good look. Let's see if they do that.

Gonna wait until final pics after scareglow is painted, but as of now, leaning to a big no. And that horse, those “arms” look stupid way to long and fat. If your gonna do a horse, give us swiftwind first, then make garbage after.
And enough with all the redos. The only thing that HAD to be done was heman/faker scuplt.
And also enough with old man wang, he doesn’t need a deluxe.
This line is just gonna go in circles if people dont order the first time around,” i missed out so remake a figure”, then the next group that didnt order the new one will be crying for a new remake. Motu has way to many cool characters that would look awesome in this line, but will never get to them if its nothing but the same group being redone.

That would be a very interesting look for the character. I'm digging the head sculpt and the cloak he has so far. Really liking his scythe too. Based on the concept art for the figure it seems like he's getting multiple different heads and a variety of weapons, including a bone whip and his classic scythe as well. The wingspan on Scaremare is insane. Makes you wonder what Swift Wind will end up looking like when they get there (assuming that'll be next year). Might make it hard to display though.
I think the MOTU reveals at SDCC are going to be insane. They've mentioned a few times offering us a new way to display our figures. I would be so stoked if they made some larger figure stands/mini diorama's we could use to display the figures.
I think they'll smash Thunder Cats out of the park. I've never watched the show myself though. I grew up watching 200x and watching the 80's He-Man with my uncle so Thunder Cats wasn't on my radar like MOTU was.
@banthafett I definitely agree with you on the redo's. I don't think we should be wasting development money and time on re-releasing old figures. Especially when we have so many Evil and Heroic warriors to make AND the main Snake Men and Evil Horde cast still at large. I would like to see a Deluxe Faker though since the first one still has that old sculpt. I pray they don't end up redoing Keldor. I've always felt he was kind of a useless character for the most part because he's much less interesting than Skeletor.
Seems like the hitlist for the Mondo team is: Man-E-Faces, Buzz-Off, Sorceress, Kobra Khan, Clawful, Whiplash and Tri-Klops. Or at the very least that's who Hector and Peter seem to chat about the most.

Bat wings are the animal’s arms and the wings are created with skin spread between the “fingers”. So if a horse is gonna have bat wing styled flappers it makes sense.

Was surfing the net this morning at work (I love my job) and came across this exclusive article on IGN regarding the release of Scare-Mare and Scare Glow Deluxe. I linked the article above and there is some teaser images of Scare-Mare as well, but I'll put some highlights below for everyone who doesn't want to read the whole thing.
Scare-Mare Info
- Features mixed media elements like removable armor and cloth components. The wings, tail and mane all glow in the dark. The figure has a massive 54-inch wingspan, though it also comes with swappable spectral energy pieces for the more space-conscious collectors out there.
- Scare-Mare is being inducted into the MOTU franchise as Mondo developed an entire backstory for our ghostly steed
- Backstory for Scare-Mare is going to be explored in a mini-comic included with Scare-Mare purchase!!!!
- A physical copy of the mini comic is included with the Scare Glow Deluxe & Scare-Mare 1:6 Scale bundle, while those who purchase just Scare Mare will receive a digital copy (interesting that the release of both figures will be jointly tied together)

Having just returned from vacation, my wallet is not excited at all about Scare Glow and his steed coming out any time soon (I kinda wish this was a later in the fall/Halloween season release).
I almost forgot about Teela! I managed to win her during one of Mondo's Toy Talk giveaways and it's since slipped my mind. I found that email in my inbox about her shipping soon as well.

so when Teela comes, Im caught up with everything except those rainbow warrior figures and the Rev Skeletor. My green Trap is sitting in my loot at bbts, so when my days are up he and teela should be here around same time.
The only redo/update i really want is a Faker with new sculpt and see through orange battle armor. Only repaint of Teela I’d probably get would be Green Goddess. Now Evil Lyn i want filmation, vintage toy, and 200x, if they do the colors right on them.

Yeah, I really lucked out with that Teela win (I'm hearing not so great things about the quality on this one, so in a way if I had to get a freebee, this might've been the perfect one!). I just got my green Trap-Jaw from BBTS the other week and I have zero issues with that one. He looks so damn cool and (mine at least) stands fine without the use of the included stand. I liked most of Florian's redesign on the OG release, but also felt it was bit too noisy and Trap-Jaw's just never been a favorite. BUT, something about the mini-comic colors and the sort of stripped down look (loincloth, furry boots, etc) gives him the vibe of the original 8-back characters and I guess I just like that vibe for him better.
As for their future releases, I really really want Evil-Lyn, would jump on a Zodac and Tri-Klops, but beyond that, I don't think I'd really be interested in their takes on Buzz-Off, Moss Man, Webstor, etc. I have no doutbt they'd look cool, but with a line like this I'm really only looking to get "so many" and not absolutely every single thing they put out.

Damn that’s unfortunate to hear. Still waiting on the tracking for mine. I saw someone on Reddit posted about theirs a week ago and she seemed to be perfect. Heads were painted really well. Hoping we don’t have another He-Man situation here and Mondo can make it right for you.

Usually they do have reserve stock for situations like this. I can imagine for the heads they could just mail you new heads (like She-Ra), but I don't know how they'd fix the knee issue without giving you a whole new figure. What are the common complaints so far (I really only look for MOTU news here)? Do your knee issues seem like a one-off and its mostly just sloppy paint problems?
The complaints ive seen was, paint, joints are a totally different shade so it sticks out. The stand, which i dont have her yet, but can agree that the stand used for she ra was crap.

Everything will be on sale for 3 weeks as a timed edition. Giving everyone plenty of time to decide what they're going to be purchasing. On a personal note, I love the new Scare Glow. I think he looks fantastic. The accessories are really cool and varied and his newly designed armour and cloak look so rad. I'm not 100% sold on the new held sculpt yet, I think it looks a bit strange when looking at it head on (pun intended), but its a massive step up from the other head sculpts that Mondo has done for him. Comparing the original release Scare Glow to the Deluxe edition is a night and day difference. It might be because he has a hinged jaw that looks really "wide" when closed. Much different from the hinged jaw that Skeletor has.
I'm not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger on Scare-Mare. A part of me wants to wait and see what sort of shape my Teela is going to arrive in, but at the same time I do want the mini-comic and the poster by Florian. Space is also becoming a bit of an issue with this line, especially when looking at big ticket items like mounts and vehicles. Excited to see all the new MOTU reveals they'll have this weekend.
I need to hang out with the treatment of the figure for a minute. I see what they were going for. Just note sure how I feel about it. They went all out on the soft goods. Which is fantastic. The main skull head looks a little strange to me. Maybe it's the really heavy weathering. It just looks kind of dirty. Also his expression around the eyes (with mouth open) looks more "surprised" than terrifying. I'm going to SDCC so I'll roll by and check it out in person.
