By the Power of Grayskull! He-Man actor Nicholas Galitzine has just taken to social media to share the very first Official Promotional image (featuring himself as He-Man holding the Power Sword) from the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” Movie from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films. Here is what Nicholas shared: "After several months of intense training, I’m thrilled to share that we’re officially in production on #MastersOfTheUniverse. Our director Travis Knight has assembled the most incredible ensemble cast and created a stunning tapestry of Eternia and its surrounding world. I can’t wait for you to see. More to come,…
We have the Power!
It's He-Man! This is so exciting. So when do we think we will see the first trailer? Maybe Mattel will put one together for San Diego Comic Con!
@skeledog his transformation is very impressive. You need to consider the fact that he has never done any form of body building before and they probably don't have him on a crazy amount of steroids. Additionally, from a genetic standpoint he might not be a hyper-responder to gear either which would decrease his size. It takes years of dedicated training with optimized nutrition, sleep and workout regime to efficiently grow muscle. Doesn't matter if you're a natural or enhanced lifter. As a natural lifter you'd be looking at 10-15 years of consistent dedication in all aspects of training to reach your full genetic potential. Considering he likely had 6ish months to bulk, cut and film I'd say this is incredibly impressive. If the movie does well and he continues playing He-Man in sequels I'd say that his physique will only improve film over film.
Quite frankly this looks like your run of the mill sword and sorcery teaser. The Netflix programs have done it better.
Uuuuuuuffffffffff... I sincerely hope it will be a good movie, but nowadays it is damn hard for me to be hyped about the new Hollywood productions.
