Maybe King Grayskull is not a good fit for him, since the lore is that Grayskull himself died at a relatively young age, I calculate probably just 15-20 years older than Adam. However, another possibility is King Miro.
Even though it's taken me decades to appreciate the 87 movie, I've always loved He-Man's design in that film! And Dolfph looked incredible. It's only right he'd be involved somehow.
While they're at it, why not cast Courtney Cox as Shadow Weaver...or Adam's grandmother.
I got to meet Dolph at the MOTU '87 40th Anniversary event. He is one awesome dude.
Whether this turns out to be a small cameo or a larger casting, I couldn't be happier!

King Grayskull the ancestor of He-Man and She-Ra I wonder if theirs a Queen Grayskull his wife I really hope Adam and his twin sister Adora are in this movie.
I should put "meet" in quotations... as this was the live Q&A at the 40th Anniversary of the Masters of the Universe movie in Austin.
However, I actually met him in-person at SDCC 2014 during an Expendables 3 movie poster signing and promo event.
...he's a big dude.

i adore dolph and the fact he's involved gives me hope that the film will have plenty on offer to appeal to the old school fanbase.
they knew how much the grown up 80's kiddos would love to see their childhood live-action he-man.
