While the weather is the reverse of what I would like it to be, I am hoping this new year will be much better than the years preceding it. In particular, I hope I don't end up in hospital again this year. I try to take care of myself physically and emotionally.
In a few months it will be MasterChef: Back To Win time so there will be plenty of updates! I can't wait to see who is coming back. Then a few months after that it will be Dessert Masters time.
Having received those wonderful Susanna Hoffs Rare & Unreleased albums for Christmas, I've discovered a few Belinda Carlisle unreleased songs on a new album so that will be my musical priority this year. The collection is called Kismet & Then Some, plus there is one for The Go-Go's called We Got The B-Sides.
I'm also looking forward to Eternal Flame the official biography for The Bangles which comes out in February. I'm also hoping The Bangles are nominated and inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame too like The Go-Go's were a few years back.
There are a few books coming out this year, including Disney Twisted Tales: How Far I'll Go (based on Moana) and Disney Twisted Tales: No One Gets Left Behind (based on Lilo & Stitch), both written by Keala Kendall, plus Disney Villains: Heartbroken (based on The Queen Of Hearts from Alice In Wonderland) written by Serena Valentino.
I am also looking forward to Snow White and Superman in the cinemas. I am also excited for the new Masters Of The Universe next year!
The fourth and final season of Superman & Lois will be released on DVD on April 1.
It's the end of the era with all the main DC TV series now ended.
