actually theyre not physical at all. I completely moved away from physical mediums years ago, so I am all digital now. But I still paint the same way I would of I was doing it traditionally, so I my color mixing and brush strokes have a very non digital look.  A lot of galleries now will work with digital artists and sell prints. They're not cheap inkjet style copies, they're usually done with archival inks and paper, but sometimes on other things like metal.  Its a better quality print than what you would get if you went to a store and bought a mass produced poster.

Wow, these illustration programs are impressive these days. Very nice! It does make the old school artist in me a little sad to see these old physical techniques start to be phased out as new generation artists push forward with new technologies... but that's more my issue, not everyone else's. 😀 Thanks for sharing your process, and your art!

@thenerdwithasuit oh man. That’s a compliment ! I loved those mini comics…and it still blows my mind that Bruce Timm, of Batman TAS fame, worked on them. There’s certain things from the comics I feel like they should bring back if they the live action thing. I really liked those old Golden Books too. They had really awesome covers. I should incorporate some of that in my next MOTU pieces.

@admin there’s no way real, old school, mediums for art will ever go away. Especially for people who want to own REAL art that they could touch. My stuff will cost less (For people to get a copy) but it’s very much not the same feel. And could always do both, digital and traditional. I started that way.  I actually started by pencil drawing all of my work, then scanning them in and “painting” them digitally (at that time it was more like coloring).
