No, you could be right!

I do wish they had gone with an H logo for He-Man. I don't dislike the cross, but I think I like the H better.

So Mattel is using the 'leaner' buck for the entire line? I dig it... I would prefer a bulkier He-Man, but what they've done here looks fantastic.

I like the head sculpt - a lot. And that Cheetara really looks incredible!

Also, Power Sword with the Eye of Thundera?!? Nice!

I still think it's such a cool option to include all the necessary parts to make these characters resemble their "basic" forms. Good on Mattel for giving fans the option and not just re-releasing the figures later on down the road.

With waves 1 & 2 including all the original adult Thundercats i wonder if the rest of the line will be all villains? There's only 4 main Mutants so 2 per wave with a MOTU villain, but who, and what could they do to make them more Thundercat-villainy?

I really don’t need the Mutants here…

I feel like to these are the only figures we REALLY need in a MOTU x Thundercats line. 

If they do go forward, maybe the Wily-kittens. Snarf and Orko mash up/two pack, a Panthor like Battlecat, Kittrina, Carnivus, and some sort of Jaga/Sorceress figure. (maybe Jaga with a feathered cape and comes with Zoar.)

But Mattel, please don’t make me buy Tcat Mutants with Trap Jaw arms and TriKlops visors.  Or tiger striped Man-at-Arms, or cheetah print Teela…

This line doesn’t need to go as deep as Turtles of Grayskull.

I agree that they shouldn't be combinations or "mutations" with the MOTU Evil Warriors, however if they are released with the necessary pieces to make them both MOTU-esque armored as well as 'normal,' then I'd be in heaven.

Ssslithe and Mer-Man, Vultureman and Tri-Klops, Jackalman and Trap-Jaw, Monkian and Beast Man...? These guys would look so cool together!

Mattel isn't shipping these with one specific style in mind... they can be "dressed" any way you want them to be! 😀 

I just realised something, this line's Skeletor basically has the New Adventures facesculpt. And in that show his team were the Mutants... which also got me thinking there's NA Adam cues from what we've seen too, with the hair hanging either side and the brown wraps?

He-Man and Skeletor are the best-looking figures in this assortment. The ThunderCats themselves are just alright.

I'd probably buy the Cats if Lion-O wasn't randomly yellow... though I have doubts about Panthro too because of how his neck might look without the guard attached. Also, I'm wondering if Tygra has the symbol once his armour is removed.

I know but so far every indication is they botched it. But we'll see. 

I'm going to remain hopeful... this is a crossover that I've literally wanted almost my entire life.

I do think that the Cheetara and Tygra look exceptionally good. The fact that they have so many display options is pretty outstanding considering these are essentially Origins figures...

So... in the 2012 ThunderCats reboot, it suggests that Silverhawks, Thundercats, (and I believe, Tigersharks) are part of a shared universe.

Does this mean that we might see Quicksilver and gang showing up in another crossover line?

Personally, I'd welcome this... however, I'd also be okay with a MOTU x SilverHawks comic as well.

@ornclown That is a cool idea, but there's rights issues. One company need to own all those properties or the companies that do own them need to work out an agreement.

This is true. And even though these properties have wallowed in obscurity for years, the license-holders most likely will not let them be used for cheap.

Nevertheless, if TMNT and ThunderCats became a reality - I feel there is nothing that is truly off the table.

The aforementioned Tigersharks and Silverhawks would be cool... but I can definitely see a MOTU x Street Sharks crossover coming soon. (Mattel holds both of these licenses.) 

I would also like Bravestarr to be absorbed into the MOTU-ology at some point.

I only found out the other day Filmation's Lou wanted to link He-Man to Bravestarr since he was working with Mattel again for the Bravestarr figures and cartoon. I knew fans were already doing that but didn't realise there was an official attempt.

I believe Silverhawks is owned by Super7 now; so such a crossover seems a little unlikely, unless Brian Flynn is keen to sell off the IP again. Come to think of it, I could see that happening, since their Silverhawks Ultimates line didn't seem overly successful; and it should be more-or-less "completed" now.
