Ever since Mattel has announced an Evil-Lyn Masterverse figure inspired by the classic 1987 live-action film “Masters of the Universe”, movie fans have been elated.
Although He-Man, Skeletor, Blade, Karg, Gwildor and Saurod have all had their movie forms realized in action figure plastic, fan-favorite Evil-Lyn has always eluded collectors… until now.
And now, thanks to some official low resolution packaging and artwork images, we are excited to report that the movie inspired Evil-Lyn will pe part of the next Masterverse wave: Wave 11!
Check it out:
So that expands Masterverse Wave 11 to officially contain the following:
- Revolution Sorceress Teela
- New Eternia Man-At-Arms
- New Eternia Trap Jaw
- Revolution Skeletor (Skeletek)
- Movie Inspired Evil-Lyn
Now the question is… will the movie inspired Masterverse figure roster expand even further soon. And why we ask is, if one looks closely, one can see Beastman teased in Evil-Lyn’s Masterverse packaging artwork. (No space is used with Beastman when we’re referring to the 1987 movie evil warrior. )
It might mean nothing…. but considering the movie inspired Beastman has never been realized in action figure plastic before (just like Evil-Lyn), we can hope!
Weāll see you next time!

Sigh… so much of that gorgeous artwork truncated and cropped with the new packaging design. I do wish they will compile a gallery somewhere for fans and collectors.
Hopefully most of the art will be contained in this upcoming book, with future volumes to follow.š¤Ā

Her skin looks more pale on that packaging. The final figure should look like that.
It’s interesting that her skin did come across in various shades…

I’m waiting for a Goatman and Pigboy 2-pack. =D
@mergryphon Bro. Seriously. How long we gotta wait for Pigboy to be an action figure? After Revelation I thought we were definitely getting him with da Goat! Now two years later and nothing.
Maybe they are worried about confusion with Pig-head from Rulers of the Sun? Still don’t understand why they had to integrate Rulers of the Sun into MOTU. Seems kinda lame and unnecessary in my opinion.
@mergryphon I actually like that they merged bro considering the story behind those SunMan toys.
A movie Teela would make me happy.
You know what would be the biggest shocker? If they release movie figures of Julie (Courteney Cox) and Kevin (can’t remember the actor’s name), individually or as an exclusive 2-pack (probably the latter).

Not sure what they are thinking with the new boxes. Good thing most of what I buy ends up opened up anyway. I’m not a big fan of the He-Man movie figures. I’ll probably just get rid of the He-man and Skeletor figures from the movie and pass on this Evil Lynn.
I would love everyone from that movie, even Carl the janitor, maybe with a bloody face, haha
