About Me

I was born in ‘83, grew up on the hobby/crop farm in Minnesota. We were the type of family that got all our stuff from second hand stores. So He Man had already been around a while before I was old enough to play with action figures, but since we got our toys from the second hand stores, my friends were playing with TMNT’s and I was happily playing with MOTU. I loved the cartoon and even the live action movie. I had a pretty decent collection of figures (never with any accessories because they were used), Cringer, Castle Grayskull, and roton. But kinda just stored them away as a teen. After high school a friend was helping me move and noticed the castle, he said his older brother was really into He Man, so I regretfully gave it to him along with everything else. Luckily he was a legit fan, so I feel a little better. But now really regret it that I have kids, and they enjoy MOTU also. I still have Orko and Buzzoff, and have accumulated a few more. I have to say it was a joy watching my son open up a new Sorceress, because I had never gotten a new MOTU toy as a kid, they were always opened with no accessories. Revelation has sparked the excitement in me again, watching it was amazing but I have to say that all the haters changed my mind and I ended up not liking it. But after finding For Eternia, it has made me see that it is a great show and I shouldn’t have let those people influence me in a negative way. Because I originally loved it and that’s what it’s about. If you like it, that’s all that matters, and it’s a great to be with like minded people. And that’s about it in a nutshell. “Good journey”
