@miamihe-man not a bad casting choice, i like this. ^^ i like how you're thinking outside the box with who to play our hero.
you make a great he-man too, btw. i really love your cosplay. you look amaze °•♡•°
@eternianbunny same girlie ♡ ✨️
personally, i'm trying to keep an open mind for now until a longer synopsis is made available. i agree with you, i honestly don't mind the idea of the movie taking place partially on earth, as long as the majority of it takes place on eternia. like, maybe the opening scenes are on eternia with ten year old adam being sent to earth by his parents, then only the next 15 minutes takes place on earth as an 18 year old, amnesiac adam discovers the truth of his past and is taken back to eternia, where the rest of the movie will take place.
kind of like what happened with adora in dreamworks she-ra or adam in the cgi series.

Aww, you are just saying that because you are my sister. Thank you, Adora. 😊 👍
@adoralovely Queen Marlena is from Earth. I wonder if she has family on Earth and that is who watches Adam.
Meg Foster was dynamic as Evil-Lyn in the original Masters Of The Universe live action movie from 1987, and if anyone could successfully pull off the role now, looks-wise and performance-wise, it would and should be Antje Traue who played Faora in Man Of Steel (2013). 😀
Supergirl's Melissa Benoist should play Teela (after having voiced her in MOTU Revolution) and Nicole Kidman should be The Sorceress - she was brilliant as Queen Atlanna in the Aquaman movies. 😀
I like all your casting choices. I'm a huge Melissa Benoist fan!

According to the synopsis, Adam arrives on Earth at age 10, but does not find the Sword of Power until age 30. Then he returns to Eternia, and has to relearn who he is. It sounds like a way to make Adam/He-Man similar to Peter/Star-Lord. So he can be an adult child who makes contemporary Earth popculture references.
Rhea Ripley is the only one to play Evil-Lyn. Other than that, with the news of Earth once again, i will not care. And i can only imagine the other stupid choices they will make to appease the few.
@talonfighter You know that's a good point. If Marlena's family does raise him, that would be something new and cool to me!
It was a cool thing Marlena was from earth, a planet we all know but that for He-Man/Adam was totally alien, THAT was different and original. Adam being like Clark Kent or Kara, an alien living in earth is not.
Anya Taylor-Joy needs to be in this.
Answer this question.
Should Anya be Teela Evil-Lyn or Sorceress.

I occasionally thinker with the idea how it would play out if He-Man/Adam had to go to Earth for some reason (not 87 movie style of course; but the one with human Marleena as mom) and meet his human grand parents.
Not sure how to think about raising him. I mean sure, its probably the best choice and is probably an interesting hook for everyone raised by their grand parents when their parents fought Skeletor or had both day jobs but... uhh... such strong Martha & Jonathan vibes 😐
Edit:
But what I would do love in all that is that they would not only have proof that their daughter is still (hopefully!) alive but they do have a grand kid. Since they probably had a terrible time assuming their daughter died in space its a kinda heart warming thought IMO. 🙂
I am definitely excited for this release. So far, there are five movies I really want to see over the next couple of years.
Snow White
Superman Legacy
Masters Of The Universe
The Batman 2
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2
Supreme Fan Of The Go-Go's & The Bangles!
Masters Of The Universe, Princess Of Power & New Adventures Of He-Man Fan!
Social Justice Warrior!
DC Comics Fan!

Did any of the comics or shows get into Marlena's private life on Earth like what her family was like or the amount of siblings she has?

We only know that she is Marlena Glenn, Captain of the space probe Valiant, pilot of the Rainbow Explorer, and one of the first female space explorers on Earth.

Basically what Adam said. Outside of that no, I do not think so. Maybe we can extrapolate from this that she is likely a highly skilled/decorated air force or marine corps member? Ain't that usually the ones becoming NASA pilots?

It's unexplored territory then for the movie writer.

Maybe. I don't know military stuff. Only geeky stuff. 🤓
We have our He-Man!
