I can't wait for vintage Origins to be over so I can just complete the collection and not have to deal with Mattel's idiocy any longer. I used to look forward to each wave releasing, now I've got research, insane time-wasting and import prices.
EE is canceling Necro Conda pre-orders. Seems they were informed that they will not be getting the stock. Thankfully I went with BBTS from the get-go.

I think I ‘ve been seeing them on Walmart (through Paul), but the price was always too high for my wallet.

I'm gonna be so fucking pissed if BBTS cancels my Necro-Conda order. That has been my most wanted figure for the past year. Or however long it has been since it was revealed. There is only 3 months left for the year & they still haven't updated the page with a release date. They say they will update the release date when they get the info from Mattel. So WTF is Mattel doing? They still don't know when he'll be released?
My 2nd most wanted was ToG Mer-Man. Was he a timed exclusive or Walmart only? He's going for insane prices & my Walmart is still loaded with Krangs. Did I get screwed/miss out on this one?
The Modulok page says "Cartoon Collection" but it looks like Vintage Collection. Anybody know what the deal is?

That's exactly what I've been saying the whole time & I caught nothing but shit for it.
Mattel totally screwed up Origins in 2024. I don't care what anybody says. I too used to enjoy the new waves. I used to get excited over the line. But ever since they announced the Vintage Collection was going to be moved over to Mattel Creations & they started vomiting out that Filmation garbage, I lost interest & just want it to be over. But they are dragging it out like crazy. So many months without a Vintage Collection release. And the only Vintage figures revealed at this year's SDCC were Modulok & Rio-Blast (and Demo-Man? I can't remember). They could have revealed 12 Vintage figures, 1 for each month. But instead, they're going to drag the line out to 2099.
BBTS just put up Horde Trooper Prime for pre-order. Another one that says 4th quarter. 🙄
I ordered 1 but that price ($29.99) blows!

The time to release the cartoon figures was alongside the vintage and simply call the whole line Origins from the get-go instead of them now just dumping 'vintage' and whatever else stock around the globe (a load of the ToG deluxes are in Forbidden Planet UK, supposed Amazon exclusive Manny was in Oz, Conda and Elite Trooper is anyone's guess etc). The bloody company is repeating the mistakes of the 80s that helped finish off the line.
Those new pics of Horde Trooper Prime with black background on BBTS look rad. Have we seen them before? His red looks better again.

Walmart is slow but all this year’s preorders came through for me, so I’m not going to fret for now. Nice that he’s available somewhere else though. Great for internationals, too.

I've been focusing on Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron for all of 2024. And I still pick up a few Transformers here & there. I've been checking my email pretty much every day all year hoping to get a notice from BBTS that my pre-orders are coming in but so far the only one they got was Reptilax.

HA! I complained this morning & tonight I got an email from BBTS saying my Vypor pre-order will be in soon. He was the ONLY one that actually said "October". Now I'm just waiting for Necro-Conda, Terroar & Lord Gr'Asp.
I was really hoping it would be Necro-Conda coming in soon.

I got email last week that cartoon clawful and spikor will hit loot (still hasnt) and yesterday about vypor. So that leaves red trooper and necro in limbo, see what store gets them first , walmart or bbts.
