@brasco We've heard that they will at some point. Also Terroar is listed on Target and when I used his DPCI (087-26-9553) I was told they were waiting for the 21st. At this point I would not be surprised to see the "Snakemen wave" hit Target on the 21st or soon after, possibly their next reset.

And some lucky toy hunters on Youtube are finding ToG Mer-Man & Moss-Man for Krang's clearance price. My Walmart is terrible at putting stuff on clearance so Krang is still full price.

This line was hard to collect before but now it's impossible.

Yeah, Necro-Conda. Fixed it. I was in a hurry & had to leave so I wasn't paying attention. 

@sci-fitsunami you have to get lucky. They all sell out pretty quickly. At least by me I found both lines but were only re-stocked once.

Have Lord Grasp, Necro Conda, Terroar & Vypor actually been released yet? I have the Amazon pages, I've been watching for the past 2 or 3 months straight. Lord Grasp & Terroar are only being sold by 3rd party scalpers for $60+ & Vypor says "currently unavailable". Where/how are people getting them? Are they Walmart or Target exclusives?  What exactly is going on with them? And what's going on with Necro-Conda? I thought he was going to be released 2 months ago. 

My two Grasps came this week from walmart. Shipped in original brown mattel box that is so small.  Cards are all bent up.

@sci-fitsunami Vypor is not out yet, haven’t seen anyone review him. (I’m speculating that he might come out with a CC wave just like Reptilax.)

Necro Conda is supposed to be available at Walmart Collector Con 7/25 at 7AM PST, which might sell out in seconds. BBTS is still your best bet I think.

Gr’Asp and Terroar were available at the last Collector Con, but only Gr’Asp has shipped for me, Terroar (and Krang) got pushed to August. Perhaps they’ll be available again at this coming CollCon.

I do seem to remember Paulmart reassuring people that some… snakes?… were *timed* exclusives only for Walmart, and would come to… fan channels?… later. He said he has them, but wasn’t allowed to sell yet. He just wanted to calm down people not to panic about them.

I don’t know anything about availability in physical stores.

Ok, thanks for the info/update. Now I kinda wish they were all on Mattel Creations. That would have been a lot easier. 

@sci-fitsunami All in one place would certainly make it easier, even if that place is not great for everybody. It’s a job to keep track! Thankfully, we have this place.

@cosmic I've said this before but all exclusives should be at a brick and mortar location AND through fan channels, like BBTS or EE.

@cosmic Hasbro does a lot of their Transformers exclusives that way, they also have a much better online store.

Only days now until we finally see some new reveals. I actually a bit surprised that nothing has leaked yet. I think Mattel snuffed out the mole that was leaking info to Toy Habits months in advance - they seem to have much tighter security now...

The only hints and rumours so far have been the Snake Lair, POP representation in the CC (She-Ra, Bow), and some POG themed art that Axel has shared on his IG (Great Black Wizard, Quick Flick).

I really want to see a nice mix of representation in the reveals:

- I want POP to get its own full sub-line, because if we fold all those characters under the regular MOTU umbrella we'll never get them at the sluggish pace they're going at. They deserve a separate treatment given the anniversary. Make 'em special, not just more red exploding rocks.

- At least 3 NA characters. That era is insanely overlooked and there's so much catching up to do. I'm losing patience and Mattel will lose me as a customer if they don't hurry the fuck up already. I'm getting tired of collecting for years on end, so give us more stuff more quickly so that I can have closure.

- POG. They've been pretty good at doing the fandom right by finally making the abandoned "lost wave" characters of 1988, so give us POG too, and not just He-Ro and Eldor - give us the expanded POG universe as defined during Classics. 

- Speaking of, finish the Lost Wave - Strobo, Plasmar, and Fearless Photog.

- A lot of us are dying to see more of the remaining vintage characters. It shouldn't be taking so long to complete them, which is pissing a lot of fans off. Stop slow-rolling their release (though I get why they're doing it that way - they want to keep us ensnared). I want to see at least 4 VC revealed, with release to follow rapidly, not dragged out over a year.

- We need to see at least 2 vehicles. It's pathetic how they've fallen off the radar. Stop farting about, Mattel. Give us all the vintage vehicles, plus extra unproduced concept ones.

- Reveal more figures that Axel created that never made it into Classics, as well as ones he created for Origins,

- For the Cartoon Collection, I want to see at least 4 characters that were created by Filmation. We're deep into that sub-line and so far they've burned through a bunch of A-listers. Give us the unique ones!!!!!

- I badly want more deep cut surprises out of left field, like how they unexpectedly revealed Geldor and Demo-Man several months back. What about revisiting some of the Create-A-Character guys - Draego-Man, Sir Laser Lot, Castle Grayskullman, as well as those fascinating runners-up - Rajar, Three Beast, Major Header, and Bubblor?? All those deserve figures finally. HANS HAMMER HOLDER!!!!

- Next Mattel Creations crowdfund: Cartoon Collection COLOSSOR.

I've wanted Hans Hammer Holder ever since he stated his name.

I would love a POP line, but they would probably end up dragging it down with a Snake Women line, like the main line is suffering now.

While we had no recent leaks, I do remember some time ago Toy Habits or whoever, talking about Rio Blast. Also they mentioned even more obscure Snake Men (eye roll).

If PoP comes into the CC, they wouldn’t have Exploding Rocks. If they won’t have the current CC Castle Grayskull bg, it might be a modified CG bg. Maybe based on She-Ra’s transformation. Or not. I don’t mind if subline or not.

But I think Bow would look great on CC buck. And maybe all those PoP characters might make Mattel revise their female Origins buck. I find it still too tiny and not as fun as the CC male buck.

I definitely am desperate to see more vintage characters in Origins.

But if you are asking for more of those snakes or other non-vintage characters, this would push the vintage characters out even longer.

Unless they really gives us a new figure for the “vintage collection” really *every month*. (Which I have some doubts about; this is just a hobby for them basically, a favor to old fans).

Or, I guess they could also take some of those snake-men exclusives slots and turn them into non-snake exclusives, for someone like Hans Hammerholder, fearless Photog, Lost Wave, … etc I have mostly interest in vintage era stuff, (incl Geldor etc), but I say the more the merrier.

I can’t wait for the reveals. I’m excited to see what they have come up with for us.
