I'm starting to see comments on Youtube showing that people are finally getting sick of all the variants. I started to get bored with this line with wave 10 & 11. I was a completionist but I started cherry-picking with wave 10 and Horde Skeletor. These figures are too expensive to keep wasting money on characters I already have. You can only get 4 for $100, only 2 or 3 with scalper prices. Transformers is my main thing & you know how expensive they are. So I can't afford to waste much money on MOTU. 

I can't believe there are now 3 Mer-Mans & 3 Beast-Mans but 0 Snakemen. Mattel went crazy with Snakemen for Origins but forgot they even exist for Masterverse. 

If they really need to make a ton of variants, the 2 I would want are Buzz-Off & Scare Glow. The 1st Buzz-Off sold out too fast & now it's hard to find one under $36. That's the 1 figure I wanted to army build. I was hoping he would flood the market & the prices would drop to $10-$15. And when are we going to get a proper Scare Glow that fully glows in the dark?

Stratos as well. I wish they'd reissue some of the MV figures. 

@he-metayer We saw King Hiss & Lady Slither references on the packaging for Snout Spout. Also noticed Reptilax and another character I don't know on NE Battle Armour Skeletor, so hopefully that's a sign of things to come.

Masterverse is the best value in action figures today. It's only competition for the title could arguably be McFarlane DC Multiverse. You've already mentioned how expensive TFs have gotten. Classified (which I collect) and Marvel Legends are 24+. Inflation sucks. However, "Only getting 4 for $100" four years ago would have been acceptable. So, I don't really understand that complaint.

I'm happy they keep improving sculpts and releasing characters again for the different segments. NE has FINALLY "found it's sound" in that they know exactly what they are trying to express. I hated the first NE Beastman. They tried too hard to do too much. That new NE Merman with lenses over the eyes is fantastic. The previous Merman figures were in the animated style so I'm glad they released a NE version.

Buzz Off DID NOT sell out fast. He hung out online for a couple of months. I slept on him too hoping to find him in stores like the previous waves. But that Wave never appeared around my area. He was in my cart at BBTS for over a month (with Faker) before he finally sold out.

I fully agree with you about Scare Glow. I strongly dislike the Revelation version's all black with small sort of glowy bones look. I really want an NE version that's cast in all translucent pale green.

Honestly, seeing how many Snakemen they did for Origins (instead of many actual main line characters which now may never see the light of day, going by how slow their roll out on Creations has been) - I've had about my fill when it comes to f'ing Snakemen 😛

(I would love to see a Masterverse Kobra Kahn tho).

Why do they love to torture us like this?  Hawke teased on the Skelcon box.  Will we ever get a figure of her?  Probably not.

They made Prince Adam & King Randor. Will we ever get Queen Marlena?  Probably not.

Awesome female Beast-Man teased on the 1st Beast-Man box. We never got a figure of her. 

If you have no plans to make the figures then don't tease us like this. I would 100% rather have a Hawke figure than a Skelcon. The Skelcons are cool but I really couldn't care less either way. I would rather have a regular Skeleton Warrior than the weird bird/Skeksis head. 

I'm interested in the different races on Eternia. I want more different Avions, Andreenids & Aquaticans etc. Instead of constantly releasing Beast-Man, I would rather have different members of his tribe. It would be a great way to introduce new characters. Make some female versions of each race. I can customize Beast-Man or Mer-Man into different members of the same race but making female versions is hard as hell. Where the hell am I gonna get a furry female body to work with? Marvel Legends has a few but they're too small. 

But that's just what I'm thinking. I'm sure most will disagree with me (as always). But that's ok.

Buzz-Off did sell out fast!  I ordered 7 immediately & right after I got them they were SOLD OUT and never came back in stock. I still wanted to get more for customs but couldn't. I have a ton of custom ideas for that figure & I still wanted to buy at least 8 more. After I received my first order I went back to order some more & they were already SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE! I couldn't get them easily for around $20-$25 so I lost interest. I even ordered a couple custom 3D printed heads for them but I never got to use them (yet). I still have a cool MOTU/Transformers crossover planned for them but they became to hard/expensive to get. Why oh why couldn't Buzz-Off end up at Ollie's??? He showed up briefly at DD's Discount but I don't have that store in my area. 

I was planning on buying a shit load of Buzz-Offs (something I never do) because I couldn't buy a ton of the Classics version. This was my chance to army build Andreenids for an affordable price but they sold out immediately. I got screwed again! I didn't have enough time to get as many as I wanted. That's why I'm hoping Mattel will make a new version of him like they've been doing with Beast-Man & Mer-Man.  

I am counting four characters getting their Masterverse debut now through spring.

If the Masterverse Vintage Collection turned out to be super popular, would you want to see it expand to include vintage era mini-comics characters like Lodar, Garn, Kobolds, Kex Queen, Masks of Power Demons, Prince Dakon, etc? They could mix these in with A-Listers or sell them via Mattel Creations as exclusives.

It would be nice for us longtime Classics collectors too ... something a little different to add to our collections.

The vintage collection should offer a line with remarkable differences from the other Masterverse lines. From what I've seen this doesn't look the case, in fact Skeletor (that I will surely preorder as soon as it becomes available) is just a slightly bulkier version of the Masterverse line, and has a less cartoonish head sculpt. Same thing for Zodak. I will probably buy Man at Arms if it will become available, just because the New Eternia version, even if very cool, has that piece of armor that is melted with the left leg that I find is a total nonsense.

Sometimes I feel like all these lines with slightly different versions of the characters have some "problems" on purpose, just to keep the buyers (us) not completely satisfied with the product and always searching for a better, more perfect version of it.

I AM NOT COMPLAINING!   I simply stated exactly what happened. I had plans, I got bummed out for a while and put those plans on hold. I also got sidetracked with Micro Galaxy Squadron. And Transformers is my main thing. I had plans to make a bunch of different Buzz-Off/Andreenid customs. In sets of 4. But I couldn't get the Buzz-Off figure easily enough so I put those plans on the back burner. Now I'm hoping they release Buzz-Off again in the classic line. Whats the big deal? I'm not complaining, I'm just talking about what I'm up to. Jeez! Troll? WTF? 

I would like to "discuss" these things. This happened, that happened, this is awesome, that sucks etc. But no matter what I post it is seen as "complaining". Every forum I post on I get the same exact thing. This happens to me constantly.  No matter what I ever say I get accused of complaining. I'm not complaining, I'm just talking about things that happened. I was super into Masterverse, then I lost interest, I don't like the constant variants, I want Snakemen instead of 10,000 He-Mans & Skeletors, I had plans, those plans got delayed, I'm still working on those plans, but I'm also doing other things & so on. That's life!

Are we not allowed to post anything else but "I saw this in the store!"  and "I just scored this figure!" and "This figure just came in the mail!" and "This new pre-order is going up!"? Toy Habits & the For Eternia Youtube channel covers all of that. Can't we talk about anything else besides leaks, reveals & pre-orders?

For example, the new Zodac classic figure. Except for the loin cloth I don't see any difference. I think the New Eternia version is better because of the cool shoulder pads. I think the New Eternia version is far superior. And you can get the New Eternia version for around $15 instead of paying $24-$30 for the new one. But somehow you'll twist that into me complaining about the new Zodac figure.

And if I say they shouldn't have made that new Zodac. They should have made a proper Scare Glow that fully glows in the dark. Somehow, that will be "COMPLAINING" too.

WTF man?  Seriously! I just want to talk about the toy line I love but no matter what I say I always have 1 or 2 accusing me of constantly complaining. This shit is really running me down. It has given me a major complex & mental block. I haven't posted a new video on my Youtube channel in over a year because now I'm afraid to say anything. Every time I want to make a new video I'm worrying about every damn word I say. Constantly accused of being negative & complaining. I can't say anything, I can't mention my opinions, I don't even know what to say anymore because no matter what I say I am constantly accused of "COMPLAINING" and being a troll. And I see other Youtubers going through the same damned thing. There is constant fighting between the toy Youtube channels. Especially in the GI Joe Classified community.
