That right there. He is dismissing the heart of this fandom as camp and of its time. If the writer and director are dismissive of Filmation too then we are in big trouble.

@filmgeek Those were Smitty's Modulok builds but I love the cartoon figures too. They are my #1 collectible. I even want the obscure characters so I hope this line keeps going.

I got my Modulok yesterday. It is not labeled cartoon collection anywhere so it was just Mattel being stupid.

Someone posted this pic from a Walmart in Oregon. I think the peg tag over the vintage She-Ra is what you are looking for because if you zoom in it says cartoon.  FB_IMG_1733320591650.jpg

I share your disappointment AJ with his forearms and his faces especially his human face. Come on Mattel! The purple they needed to use was right next door on his robot face! How could they screw that...

I don't think these new figures are on Walmart yet. They are too new. Did you change your mind about getting She-Ra? I love her! My only complaint is she needed to be a little taller.
