I know it's a bit late to chime in... You are doing an amazing job here at For Eternia. I would love to help out in anyway I can. If I ever make comments like, "I blame AJ for getting me all started into this masterverse stuff", it's my "Joshing" (If anyone ever uses that word anymore), but just a type of Bro jab of joking around with him since my initial conversation with him was his blatant honesty about a picture I sent him of a couple figures I did some customizing on but the camera was from my old crap phone so it was quite a bit blurry.  Since coming here though I would like to add that the people here are great and the community is very welcoming. This is a good place to visit if your a MOTU fan! It's actually the only MOTU website I visit so unless someone feels there is another site I should visit, I guess this is where I am claiming my home.

Being part of this great warm, friendly community with you and everyone else here has just been incredibly special and worthwhile. Also... Very possible I need to run to have an emergancy checkup on the cancer stuff in my mouth so I may not be around much in the up coming weeks. I'll give an update when I can.

I'm three hours and fifteen minutes into my analysis of the She-Ra reboot. If I do video essays as a hobby, I want to cover A LOT of stuff. Political analysis, history, and my readings on stuff like Godzilla, Star Wars, How to Train Your Dragon, ATLA/TLoK, Disney films, Carmen Sandiego, Indiana Jones, etc., etc. but I recurring subject I want to tackle is Masters of the Universe. 

I want to do another video essay regarding She-Ra about how there was always backlash and controversy regarding her character. Puritans in the 80's who linked toy-based shows with Satanism and She-Ra was one of them because a lot of people could tell the OG shows were queercoded and had LGBTQIA elements to them. In it, I want to end by discussing how that sort of reflects in backlash to the new show, and how both Filmation and Dreamworks She-Ra got mega pushback from people who really wanted to preserve a status quo. Then I want to go into how the generational divide is not nearly as intense as some people online want to make you think. A lot of old fans liked the new ones and vice versa, and if you go to OG Facebook groups all about the Filmation She-Ra, you'll find plenty of people who liked the new one. And the people there who try to stir trouble actually have the admins replying to them, saying that the new one was very true and faithful to what the original was all about. I want to tell people in this essay that past generations interacting and learning from new ones and vice versa in nerd culture can be a great thing, and that people who start wars online for clout shouldn't divide that. And this forum here is a place I love due to good interactions.

I did not give the She-Ra reboot a chance. It felt too much like they are more trying to target a younger generation by having all the characters seem more like teens rather then adults. I can't speak out and say it was terrible because I think I only got half way into the first one and then decided it wasn't for me. Same for the weird He-Man where they replaced Ram-Man with Ram-Mam and made He-Man just look like he is going to topple over on those short legs as his body is way too bulky. I'm sure they are great and had a lot of work put into them but I just felt the targeted audience didn't include me.

I'll add my voice to those thanking AJ for this site.  I'm a big fan of your YouTube videos and your podcasts, and I love the interviews Dad-At-Arms does as well. (How does he line up those big name guests?  I'm in awe!)

I recently saw AJ's YouTube video about Fisto and Clamp Champ.  I won't spoil it here.... but wow, what an eye for detail!

Virgil, I read some of your posts, and hope everything is ok with your health.  AJ is right, you are a true heroic warrior!
