In the 80s timeline it did never get sent to Dispandos, in the reboot it was sent there.
What happened to it in Mattels version? Well that depends on what DreamWorks allowed Mattel to use?
Mattel said DreamWorks could not use planet Eternia or Castle Grayskull, that could have lead to Mattel not being allowed to use Etheria in return.
So either Etheria DOES NOT EXIST, or it will not be shown on screen and maybe just be referred to in the comics...

The fourth tower is Havoc. That should be entirely obvious from the Tri-Sorceress and the image shown on the mural in Darksmoke.
