I am thinking about getting some framed art for my office at home and work/school (I'm moving from 4th grade to 6th grade next year and love to have fun, nerdy personal items in my classroom). I really like the more realistic styles of art. My favorite fantasy artist is Boris Vallejo, if you have heard of him, he often has heroic muscled figures in the midst of battle. I'd love to buy some fan art prints from a talented, honest artist. Have any of you purchased MOTU fan art before, or official art? I'm not sure where to start!

Hi Heather! This may be a good option for you. There are some officially licensed Masterverse Revelation art prints being sold at displate.com by artist Eamon O'Donoghue who likes to create his Masterverse character art in a Boris Vallejo style. (He talked about it in our latest podcast) It is not as photo realistic as Borris could create, but these are actually printed on metal which seems more safe for a classroom environment.

Here's a link: https://displate.com/licensed/masters-of-the-universe

! I love that you're looking to display this in your classroom! Those students are lucky to have you!🙂

oh that’s awesome!! I can’t wait to get to that episode. I’m on 10 catching up. These prints would be perfect! I think a couple character posters side by side would be perfect. Pretty good value too especially since I don’t have to frame it. And the magnet mounting makes it perfect for a classroom. Thanks! I’ve seen some pretty cool Castle Grayskull prints on Etsy I might look into for home too. I want to get some of the Micro Figures to sit in front of it.

your art is awesome! I just went and liked the Facebook page and scrolled through the pictures on there. How fun. I don’t blame you for not coloring but just making line art that shows dimension and depth is still really hard without parts of the drawing getting lost.

I think I have some old, what ever they are called that they made for cartoons with. Those graphics that tend to be reused a billion time if you recognize the same animation use over and over. Animation cells? Is that the name?

@heathershalla Anytime!

Just a thought but once you find art you really like you should make it your profile pic here like I did!

I am glad I could help a little with some ideas! 🙂 When you finally pull the trigger on whatever you end up going with, I would love to see a picture of them on the wall (only if you feel comfortable sharing of course!) Good luck!
