Physical all the way for me. That's the only version that can go up in value. 💰

I have to confess. I pay for both. I love having the physical copy to collect and put on the shelf, but I love reading it digitally with the guided view. And the colors just pop on the screen, so much more than the printed page offers.

My only complaint is we don't get a digital copy for free when you buy physical copies. I don't know if they still do it now, but that was one thing I loved about reading Marvel comics a couple years back. You buy the printed comic, you get a digital code as well.

I love the physical copies, but space and convenience has pushed me pretty much digital in recent years. I still love the smell of comics and I miss that.

@griff The smell? What? I am physical reader all the way and never noticed a smell. Maybe my honker doesn't work? 😂

Digital for me. The future of all movies is going to be digital. Eventually people will no longer have a DVD player or what ever you call it that comes in their cosole systems. I think my wife is using an Xbox One S for watching her shows. Anytime I try and watch something I wanted which is usually a blast from the past, when I look it up it makes me pay like around $4 for it, which I think is MUCH CHEAPER then the DVD version. Or is DVD no longer a thing?

Based on how many times I've watched Revelation, digital for me makes the most sense. Especially when it's become my "Sound to help me sleep".

IF, and this is a big IF... If it comes with something you can't get from the digital like a cool metal ring or something I may look into it.

I can still remember the way regular issues smelled.... And the way hardcovers and prestige formats smelled.  But I was a lot younger then.... I probably couldn't tell nowadays, lol.

If anyone ever detonates a electromagnetic pulse and the internet goes bye bye you will all be coming to my house to read or watch physical media and I will charge a viewing fee. 😁

For me, it's both! 😌

Whilst I do prefer physical media over digital. Digital is often times just more convenient. I love my MOTU comics but when I'm in bed, do I really want to get up, take my long boxes down from the shelf and take the comics out of the bags when I can just stay under the covers with my kindle.

I love my DC MOTU hardback omnibus edition hardback but have you seen that thing, guys? It's a monster! 😭

Not very practical for reading on the commute to work or when I'm in the bath. lol

I tried reading that in the bathroom but never again. That book cut off the circulation in my legs! I was all wobbly! 🤣🤣

@he-dad 🤣🤣hahaha! Awww I do hope you've since recovered, HD.

I don't think I own any other books as big as that one. It's the most powerful graphic novel in the universe! 💪🏾📙

You both are so right! 😄 That book is a monster to find a comfortable way to read. If it wasn't approximately $75, I would buy a second digital copy just for the convenience.

True true. If, or should I say WHEN things turn south those discs will be a high seller. Some remote areas still use old equipment and even old VHS tapes are valued high in those areas. But I'll still stick to digital. If I can't watch tv I'll just find some entertainment like tossing eggs at AJ and Giff's house.

With the comic books... Wow I have quite the collection when I was younger but never got any of the Master of the Universe comics. I did read all of the comics and even the new ones by just doing a search for them online for free. I still do open up my laptop to go back and sharpen up on my MOTU knowledge often when I can't sleep at night. That or I play with my guinea piggies. They help keep me sane most days 😛

@bricrue Awww 🥹 You have Guinea Pigs, Virgil?

I've never had any, I used to have two bunnies and I'm a major bunny momma but I've always dreamed of having Guinea Pigs. lol

Forgot I had this video.

This is from when I went christmas shopping like 4 years ago. I wasn't planning on getting any pets, I just wanted to hold the little guinea pigs. I had one as a kid and had a really good experience with that one. Now, I wasn't aware that guinea pigs need a companion otherwise I would have just picked one. The clerk told me that around this time of month the sales for guinea pigs are really low and what they don't sell they use to feed their snakes. Guess I also felt like I was saving their lives even though I only saved two of them and their sister... Who knows where she is now.

I don't even cage my guinea pigs any more. I trained them to use a "Litter box" so that I'm not constanty running the vacum over the floor. Was very surprised at how intelligent these little critters are. I also trained them to give me a "Piggy kiss" when I ofer them a treat. Cute little buggers stand on their hind legs till we tough faces. Peaches actually licks you a little as well.

Now... I did have a rabbit around the same time I had my first guinea pigs from like... 20 something years ago. (Dang I'm starting to feel old). The rabbit was a pain to work with. Maybe it's because it was a male but it peed on every thing. It also would scrach up parts of the wall like it was trying to dig it way out. I didn't keep it in the cage all of  the time as I was trying to train it to be more of a house pet. That didn't work. Somehow that rabbit got outside and the neighbor dog killed it. I remember my daughter screaming and crying because she was the one who found it. So I just have never had any second thoughts regarding rabbits.

Anyway... Sorry for hijacking this forum!

Ack! Sorry, tried to give you a video that was too large. I have a couple videos and some pictures if you want me to try and find a way for me to share them. Anything you want to know about this animal let me know. I love those two like my own kids.

My vote is physical.  My collection of MOTU publishing is all physical (except for the digital-only ones that came out early in the DC comic run, and it frustrates me that I can't hold them and flip through them like the rest of my collection).

I prefer (and ordered) the physical version. Its not that I don't mind reading digital comics. But I do not really value them. At least not on the same level. Not even close.
