Nice review, it makes me excited about him even though I don’t collect the movie figures! It’s great that they finally made him into a figure! I agree the details are awesome ans he looks great with your other movie figures, even Classics!

Adding Grizzlor’s fur was a genius idea! It makes him more hefty in the mid section, fixing entirely my only gripe with him– that he looks a bit slim in the torso.

I’m also surprised they have not used the double-elbows for him and Snout Spout, but then there were a lot of criticisms for those. I’ve gotten used to it, and love that MV has longer arms compared to Classics, (yay!), and more movement, but looking up close they are not pretty, with the cut out biceps etc

Especially with NE Beast Man, whose arms are thick but have some ugly “gaps”. Perhaps they decided to abandon that for heftier figures, or very skinny ones like Adam.

Do you really need the head scratching pose 😜 ?

@cosmic He doesn't need the head scratching pose but you will get better sword stances if you're into that sort of thing. Regardless I like this figure. He actually looks better as a figure than how we saw him in the movie.

Us talking about how someone changed the design of Snake Lair makes me think of this movie. Why did someone change the design of Beast Man thinking they could do better than what the fans already liked?

Thanks and he does look great with the Classics figures too! Years ago, I thought we would never get movie figures and now there is an abundance of them!

I agree, the fur definitely helps with filling out his mid-section and is my preferred way of displaying him. Of course, I do wish he came included with fur, but at a $22 price point I'm happy with what we got. 🙂

That's fair. 😄

We will have to see if we can get William Stout to elaborate the whole "Beastman" conception. It would be interesting to learn! 🙂
