@rogerblake they were concepts for MOTUC, I think. I think Golden Rod is the most likely to fill a spot in the lineup as he's made of mostly reused or reusable parts.

For that to happen, they need to end, but still be popular enough for Dark Horse to make money. 

I'd love Dark Horse to publish book collections of the London Editions comics, a book of the Golden/Kid Stuff book, a book of the Ladybird books and World International Annuals, and maybe a book of the Telepictures Publications He-Man and She-Ra Magazines. 

I'd really like it if I could buy these mini comics on Comixology/Kindle. 

@rogerblake I love all those ideas but I bet it's a legal nightmare of copyright ownership and publication rights.

@smitty-81 no not MC, he was leaning towards SDCC. Any vintage should not be exclusive to anywhere other than MC. Repaints or deep cut characters I’d be fine with

The Extendar comic cover is another relief! I wonder if the Rokkon and King Grayskull ones were just a weird fluke... like deadlines were coming up fast and they just rushed those out.

@zodac they almost look AI drawn but with someone coming in to fix the hands. The Art "style" works for VeeFriends but not for Rokkon. 

Really I think we're all spoiled with how damn good the ToG art is.

I had forgotten about that discussion point. Good to have it confirmed. 

Judging by the package image, Reptilax appears to have the same mini comic as Terroar and Lord Gr'Asp, so if those figures never appear, we'll at least still be able to see the mini comic.

The wordless versions on Vaults of Grayskull are great for when I'm making a wiki page for a character or item or whatever, but not great for reading. 

@rogerblake I would really like to have wordless versions on all the ToG mini comics the art is the best in all of Origins.

The art done by actual artists has been a big part of how Mattel promotes the stuff. Pixel Dan always mentions how cool the art is in every revue and often mentions the name of the artist. And currently IG pages like Roy Juarez shout out the art and creators, which then inspires a lot of YouTube/Blog reporting on MOTU, which excites the fan base. 

They're not about to upset the whole applecart by saving a couple bucks on art.  

• We're Back down to 6 pages
• The art is dramatically improved over "The Spear of Eternity"
• The choice in characters in interesting, I get Lord Gr'Asp, Extendar, and He-Man, but the rest just see like the artist or writer picked his favorites
• The ending is rushed and cringy
