Feels a bit like Mattels MOTU team is still on vacation 😉 It's not like they could have forseen the delay a little more in advance ^^
Ah well, I am happy about any "vintage" origins launch, seeing how rare they have become.
I am still a little puzzled about the lack of information about future releases - and that is true for Masterverse NE also. Maybe I have missed announcements, but it has gotten awfully quiet around the "core" lines. Makes me wonder what Mattels plans are for MOTU in general. One might think that they lost their motivation after that Snake Lair "debacle"....
My guess is a load of stuff will get announced alongside the Thundercats in the next month or two. The Cartoon and ToG waves have certainly been dropping relatively quickly.

An early in-hand look at the upcoming Masters of the Universe: Origins "Cartoon Collection" CATRA figure with her magicat mask & cape removed. 🐈⬛️ (Thanks to Raúl for the pics!)
Her face is perfect. Too bad her mask is shaped weirdly at the bottom. It should frame her face in the "up" position, but it's like it was sculpted more to be in the down position, covering her face...
Weird choice.
Also she should be a bit skinnier. Catra always was.
But the face is flawless.
Rio Blast is live in the UK!

Less than 30 MINUTES TO GO until the Masters of the Universe: Origins RIO BLAST figure order page launches at the U.S. Mattel Creations website. (No affiliation link)

We have the Power!
Got mine! In and out in less than a minute
Me too - was surprisingly easy! I thought a vintage heavy hitter might be problematic.
Got mine but sad these are shipping in March. I got so used to MC shipping right away.

Other than He-Man, Skeletor and Hordak who would you consider a "heavy hitter" Maybe Two-Bad who I removed as Mattel more or less confirmed him.

That might be because the UK ones ship towards the end of January and got a re-up after the initial sellout.

This went live for an hour or less today around 5PM PT. I was able to order two, though it allowed for more. It states that it should be delivered by the January 27th so it seems it will be available again soon. Keep an eye on out.
The fact the Rio Blast is still available is a little...concerning? I would consider him a fairly heavy hitter (as in: iconic), and past releases almost always sold out in less than 2 hours. Now, maybe they actually did learn a thing or two and increased the volume of their pre-orders. But more likely people are losing interest in the line. With so much stuff going on in the toy collection world, and seeing how Mattel dragged out the Origins releases... honestly, personally I have all but lost interest. The past 2 or so years have been so incredibly slow and unrewarding. Too many werid "made up" characters, non-MOTU characters (RoT), that Snakelair "debacle"... and all I was hoping for was a re-release of the vintage line in its entirety with all the playsets and vehicles. And yes, maybe continue it from where they left off 40 years ago and explore Preternia a bit.
Just seems that somewhere along the line they lost focus, or interest or whatever. Ordering one figure every couple of months at double the retail price (international shipping)... is not a fun collecting experience - to me anyway.

Fully agree - I just want it to be done. I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in the UK the retail cartoon and Masterverse figures are now beginning to clog shelves and warehouses.
The issue is Mattel. The various lines have been an unnecessary nightmare to collect from day one and so it's a miracle ANYBODY is still around to care. Even apart from that, the lack of information and the collective failure of the crowdfunders is blundering at it's finest.

Nailed it 100% dude. It is sad to say but many in the toy circles I hang out in say the same things and they didn't stick it out like we have.

I hated the Thundercrats crossover when I first saw them. I only want the regular Thundercats in Origins scale. But I just saw that they come with the extra parts to make the regular Thundercats without the crossover crap. So now I love'em. Count me in. Cant wait to get Cheetara, my absolute favorite. She's the only one I bought from Super7 to go with my MOTU Classics/Masterverse collection.
