...I just hope they don't neglect the Rebels, which will be a harder sell. I mean, it's a lot of female figures. We know how eager they are to make those in the MOTU lines.

Honestly, I'd have felt better seeing Glimmer included or Bow or Casta, just because it would mean they're spacing out the Hordesmen, who have crossover appeal.

When are we getting more reveals? Pretty much everything that was shown at SDCC has been released or is about to be. Mattel sucks at maintaining fan engagement and communication in general. If it wasn't for the artists like Axel and Roy independently dropping teases on social media, there would be nothing to talk about for months at a time. I'm bored. I want to know what we can expect in 2025 beyond vague rumours and hints that are floating around, that may not even lead to anything legit. Mattel is so shit at this that at this point I'd be thrilled even if they fed us a scrap like a single name reveal once a month, but they can't even do that. That's how bad the MOTU management team are at this.

Mattel could learn something from the GI Joe Classified team about how to keep  reveals spaced out into short periods in order to maintain a high level of hype and anticipation among fans. 

@durendal normally there would be Toy Fair in mid February but that been changed so who knows what any toy company will do. But you're right about fan engagement or the lack of. I think Mattel let's Axel and Roy release these teasers, possibly even tells the what to tease and when.

Could someone please say the American Walmart item number or SKU number for the Cartoon Collection Hordak?

@samuel I almost bought this for $50 on eBay a few days back but then I found a Super 7 Animated Modulok for $40 including shipping and decided I would rather Modulok be a little bigger but more screen accurate as I’m trying to build a cartoon main display- still considering this one but honestly am way more excited by the cartoon figs than most of the origins line. If I don’t get it, I know I’ll regret it later though, so I probably will lol Love the builds you did!

@filmgeek Those were Smitty's Modulok builds but I love the cartoon figures too. They are my #1 collectible. I even want the obscure characters so I hope this line keeps going.

I'm hoping the line can keep going long enough to bring in NA, more 200X, 87 movie, Revelation/ Revolution VC PoP and even the CGI show and maybe bring back FF enough to get every figure back out.

Still no Rio Blast on Mattel Creations. Weird. The release calendar shows it for today and that Hot Wheels 2024 factory-sealed set for tomorrow, but the Hot Wheels set is counting down to release today. Maybe the two just got inadvertently switched?  

They have updated their calendar and Rio Blast is on the 21st now.

Feels a bit like Mattels MOTU team is still on vacation 😉 It's not like they could have forseen the delay a little more in advance ^^

Ah well, I am happy about any "vintage" origins launch, seeing how rare they have become.

I am still a little puzzled about the lack of information about future releases - and that is true for Masterverse NE also. Maybe I have missed announcements, but it has gotten awfully quiet around the "core" lines. Makes me wonder what Mattels plans are for MOTU in general. One might think that they lost their motivation  after that Snake Lair "debacle"....
