Got mine but sad these are shipping in March. I got so used to MC shipping right away.
That might be because the UK ones ship towards the end of January and got a re-up after the initial sellout.
New images of Scetch Series Hordak and Grizzlor.
And here's the Target link.
This went live for an hour or less today around 5PM PT. I was able to order two, though it allowed for more. It states that it should be delivered by the January 27th so it seems it will be available again soon. Keep an eye on out.
The fact the Rio Blast is still available is a little...concerning? I would consider him a fairly heavy hitter (as in: iconic), and past releases almost always sold out in less than 2 hours. Now, maybe they actually did learn a thing or two and increased the volume of their pre-orders. But more likely people are losing interest in the line. With so much stuff going on in the toy collection world, and seeing how Mattel dragged out the Origins releases... honestly, personally I have all but lost interest. The past 2 or so years have been so incredibly slow and unrewarding. Too many werid "made up" characters, non-MOTU characters (RoT), that Snakelair "debacle"... and all I was hoping for was a re-release of the vintage line in its entirety with all the playsets and vehicles. And yes, maybe continue it from where they left off 40 years ago and explore Preternia a bit.
Just seems that somewhere along the line they lost focus, or interest or whatever. Ordering one figure every couple of months at double the retail price (international shipping)... is not a fun collecting experience - to me anyway.

Fully agree - I just want it to be done. I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in the UK the retail cartoon and Masterverse figures are now beginning to clog shelves and warehouses.
The issue is Mattel. The various lines have been an unnecessary nightmare to collect from day one and so it's a miracle ANYBODY is still around to care. Even apart from that, the lack of information and the collective failure of the crowdfunders is blundering at it's finest.

Nailed it 100% dude. It is sad to say but many in the toy circles I hang out in say the same things and they didn't stick it out like we have.

Thundercats are loose!
These look amazing - so happy to be actually getting a Thunder-Battle Cat.
Side note - My Target exclusive Sketch Series Hordak and Grizzlor shipped.
I assume they will be hitting stores soon.

I hated the Thundercrats crossover when I first saw them. I only want the regular Thundercats in Origins scale. But I just saw that they come with the extra parts to make the regular Thundercats without the crossover crap. So now I love'em. Count me in. Cant wait to get Cheetara, my absolute favorite. She's the only one I bought from Super7 to go with my MOTU Classics/Masterverse collection.
I'm surprised Rio Blast is still available. I think the Origins line has declined in popularity. A toy based on an 80s figure being available this long in the Classics hey day was unheard of.
@firefly it's possible that he's just not that popular with the fans. It seems unlikely. It's also possible that the date change threw off a lot of people.

Can anyone tell me if Young Randor's skin tone matches regular He-Man's?

Yeah, i dont understand how some of you are acting like rio blast is a major player. He’ll be going in the back with MAA not to be seen.
The nostalgia is less strong for Rio Blast due to his timing. Rio Blast appeared in stores during the 1986 holiday season. That was the same time the popularity of Masters of the Universe crashed.

@kraken if Valtack sells out in less than an hour I'll eat one of my hats, live on YouTube.

Well, he was an actual vintage release, unlike a lot of the stuff Mattel put out in this line over the past years, and I would say he was one of the figures that was harder to find *complete* for vintage collectors.

@admin Did they shrink her fat face from the earlier prototype? I pray that they did...
