Got The Stranger Things Skeletor set after all, because I like the colors and the modified 1st release head (less crazy).

Also there is so little going on in the “Vintage Collection”, I needed something.

The freaky Demogorgon is cool, and I love the washes and colors on both figs. Muted, darker Skeletor looks great!

Quality lacks a bit, Skeletor sucks at holding his weapons, especially the sword. Joints are not great either. Different factory I guess!

Still a nicely designed exclusive. Will probably get He-Man / Vecna too. Good monsters for Skeletor to summon!

They moved production from China to Vietnam sense the line started.

@durendal not really. I've noticed a small dip in quality. And I don't think working conditions are much better.

Not sure when the change happened, but at some point they had figured it out and they had all pretty good joints. Fan Favorites, CC and Turtles seem to be ok, but the “Vintage line” exclusives that *don’t* come from Creations are hit and miss.

My Screech Skeletor is a bobble head, Lord Gr’Asp is pretty loose all around, Stranger Skeletor had frozen knees and can’t hold the sword, Demogorgon’s arms are already loosening,… Reptilax is great though.

CC joints seem pretty good all around, the ones I have. Quite tight. I was impressed with the new buck. The ToG, the handful that I have are ok-ish. Could be tighter but not bad.

@smitty-81 I'm just saying de-coupling from China must be a priority for the West. Vietnam is a far lesser evil.

I gotta agree with @durendal dude. I am sure we can find a crappy cel that matches any crappy version of cartoon Skeletor figure they put out but the Super7 one matches the good shit that Filmation would use over and over again to save cash. The Mattel cartoon figure was good too but I remember Super7 improved it somehow but I can't remember how.

@kraken idk. Everyone has their "ideal" look for any character but you do make a good point about using the right piece of animation to use when making an action figure.

Just throwing it out there that there is a MOTU drop on 10/1 according to EE's 'drop zone'.

@durendal Geldor is a MC release. It could be a CC figure. It didn't make sense that there were only three figs in She-Ra's cross sell art instead of four. Maybe the Klops said fuck your wave She-Ra I'm going rogue.🤣

Here is my hot take. That Tri-Klops face looks great! But what about Batros? I really want a Cartoon Collection figure of Batros. He is my favorite character but no one else seems to really like him and he is always passed over.
