Yeah, CG Teela was one of the first of many to come where Super7 shows off one thing, and delivers nowhere near what was solicited.  

CC Teela production figures came out even BETTER than the early pictures of her. Hoping for a Masterverse Filmation Teela because of how good that head is... one day, Mattel???

I'm lukewarm on Mantenna since Filmation made him look so goofy compared with his classic monstrous appearance, but Filmation Hordak is my favourite version of him. I really hope they get his head right - so far, only Super7's Club Grayskull version back in 2017 accurately nailed the look.

Yes, 100% agree on the Club Grayskull Hordak head being the only Hordak head to cut the mustard.  The Masterverse Filmation Hordak head was nowhere close.  Hoping CC Hordak really nails it.  Sadly, so far, most of the CC collection head sculpts are weaker than the Club Grayskull versions. Teela is the only CC head to outdo the Club Grayskull head. Just wish that head wasn't so small!  I would go crazy for a 7 inch scale CC Teela head.  Masterverse, start dipping into MOTU Filmation! 

CC Webstor head is quite solid!  The first CC figure to have no Club Grayskull equivalent. 

Hope they have their best sculptor on CC Hordak! 

 

The Teela Club Grayskull sculpt was amazing mate and the paint on the prototype was equally brilliant. If only the paint on the actual figures lived up to expectations.

I don’t really use Paul, sticking to BBTS and Amazon to save a few bucks here and there.

But supporting a property is a good thought. I assume what Paul sells is not thousands of figures, but still.

I know it from the book world– it is important to support the title through the channels that actually *count* on their balance sheets, if you *really* want to support it.

This is the way.

I think they need to nail head sculpt and coloring.  The gray should probably be flat gray, not metallic, or that horrible marble swirl plastic they have used on a few figures.

Bonus points for an alt head with dizzy eyes and transparent stars circling his head.

I've assumed that the CC Ram Man would use the "Fat Guy" buck from the WWE  and the armor from Mutated Ram Man but with a new head \ arms and non goat feet but that kind of doesn't make any sense given the depiction of Ram Man in the cartoon. The original figure already looks goofy, so I'm curious what they would do. I love the idea of the "bonked" head.

Amen to that. It's unfortunate that Mattel has put VC on the backburner while releasing goofy mashups (TMNT crossover) and trying to establish yet another, parallel line (CC). I was really really hoping that Mattel would manage to release updated versions of all the original characters, playsets and vehicles. I'm not sure that will happen with how much they have slowed down VC. Stuff like Dragon Walker or the Fright Zone have, at best, been teased on box art, but so far there is no indication that they will actually be coming to MC somewhere down the line. 

Not to mention how f'ing annoying it is to have to order a figure at a time via MC, which adds 10$ for shipping for. every. single. item. (I am in the EU) and takes foreverrrr to arrive. 

@durendal unfortunately they may not come until next year. Mattel seems to want to pad out the MC VC releases with characters like Demo-Man and Geldor. Not that i mind getting more characters, but yeah Rio-Blast has been teased in art and he had a minor appearance in Revolution.

@dynamicg yeah the cartoon didn't just make him short but generally smaller like a shorn dwarf or a big hobbit. I think getting a CC Ram-Man we're equally likely to get an all new figure to recreate that small stature or a non-mutant ToG Ram-Man.

@lasastard The CC line I am more okay with but TOG is totally unnecessary. I thought the Powers of Grayskull sub would get a big push after Eternia and King Grayskull shipped including the giants and dinosaurs. It was the perfect time for it but whatever.

@kraken as much as I would like PoG it wouldn't have sols well. The ToG line is very popular and doing very well. The CC line was a good call as it allows new collectors to jump in without being so far behind.

I'm sick of it too, but at least he also comes with his own unique axe, although it looks identical to his Classics one...

The armor looks like it’s a bit too big for him… perhaps it’s just the angle.

Love the head and colors. It’s obvious there are budget constraints, but he does have new parts, too.

I think he’s so similar to his Classics version that he doesn’t really feel … new or fresh. But I loved his original Mini-Comic appearance back in the day, and he is a classic character. Will try to get him.

By the time he comes out, I’ll be starved for a new “vintage line” release!
