For the love of God and all that is holy, do not let him be retailer exclusive.

I could be wrong, but I seem to rememeber him being an Amazon exclusive.

Allegedly he's an Amazon exclusive, the details supposedly coming from a Mattel bod at SDCC IIRC. I didn't watch it.

Amazon can't even provide Hasbro exclusives half the time much less Mattel's attempts at 'distribution'. I had to buy Mini Comic Manny from Australia!

To make what's essentially a troop builder an exclusive is all kinds of dumb. "I think we'll keep Demo Man for ourselves and give Amazon ol' Modulok. Yes."

If he is an Amazon exclusive, that will be a nightmare for MOC collectors.

It really looks like he has only one upper body. Didn’t the vintage have two?

Otherwise, he looks rad. Never had him. I kinda like that he’s chunkier than the vintage version.

Edit: The vintage version had also just one torso! Mind blowing. I could have sworn he had two! I only had Multi-Bot back then, and he came with two torsos.

Amazon? Fucking please no. Amazon can't ship anything securely. They throw shit in bags or let items bounce around in big boxes without enough filling to protect it. Sometimes they bend cardbacks to make figures fit. Fuck Amazon!

Seeing how it comes in a cardboard box from the pics in the article, there is a great chance Amazon ships it just in that. They probably won't even bother with a plastic bag let alone another box with protection.

This is sadly true.

I must say, that figure is extremely interesting! How much should it be priced?

For what it should be $30 but I would bet on $40.

That would be a disaster for in box collectors.

To all who have been wondering about this Amazon exclusivity:
1- it is only for the US
2- it is temporary, after a set timeframe (unknown) the Amazon exclusivity will expire, and online stores like EE and BBTS will have preorders of it too, eventually.
3- we don’t know at this point if Modulok will also be eventually offered at brick-and-mortar stores after the Amazon exclusivity has expired, but it could happen IMO

Indeed, and I forgot to mention in my first post that markets outside of the US have no restrictions to list preorders for Modulok, unlike the US. There are already a few online stores in Europe such as Smyth’s offering it.

@collectorphil It would be nice if they got away from exclusives all together.
