That Horde Revernt looks like could be Desparo. Maybe?

Never heard of these characters. I'm 49 years old, and I believed to know most of the MOTU characters and action figures but I don't really know where do they come from.
They are new army builder characters meant for customizers. Nothing more.
@mighty-thanos @slycooperastroboy51 @alteredquantum
These are called the we can sell you anything and you will buy it characters.
@mighty-thanos they are Paragon Champion, Skel-Knight, Horde Revernt and Pit Warden. Or they could be Man-at-War, Skeletor with a new magic helmet and sword, Horde Prime and Snakeman Two-Bad. Or whoever you want them to be, you're the master of the universe, you have the power to play your way.

The figures are ok at best, i like the concept of them representing the main 4 fractions but that snakemen one......
I like the concept of the snakemen getting their own verison of two bad but this figure is a mess and the weakest of the set due to how much it look like they just grabbed spare parts out of a pin and just called it a day. It somehow makes terroar design more stable. I'll be debating on wether or not i will get this set personally
@trapperjaw I though the head on the right was new until a friend of mine pointed out it is the Vypor head. Is the head on the left a reuse from something?
That a new head, I never seen any motu characters in the orgins line with it ( for a minute though it was a whiplash alt) it make sense that would be a new head given it kinda fits the theme of the other figures getting new heads ( with the exception of Paragon Champion being a repaint)
with the exception of Paragon Champion being a repaint
I think is any of the factions were to have all the soldiers with the same armor is different colors it would be the heroic warriors.

Who's the skeleton? And in true fashion there's the bloody Skelcon we could have gotten!
It's interesting that the Horde Troopers are spectators, suggesting they're maybe humanoid. The green cloak character caught my eye too.

Anyone else think the new Pit Warden head can be reused for High Priest Pythonus?
I'm generally seeing a lot of negativity, people saying that they don't like how the figures are just mix and match. And that there's no creativity or imaginality in it but the pole I started seems to suggest that at least original figure set is the most popular.

@smitty-81 I don't really get that thinking. The vintage line itself had several straight up repaints, which are characters that are very popular to this day (Faker, Moss Man, Stinkor), so I don't understand the criticism of these, especially given that there are 3 newly tooled unique heads in this set, so they're not even straight up repaints. Fans are stupid.
@durendal Times have changed dude. Action figure tooling ain't pricey anymore. Any 3d sculpter can create something basic like a new origins model. They can do it real fast. Or modify an existing origins 3d model and do it faster. All you do is drag points with your mouse. No excuse for reusing anymore. Just change a little and people will stop their bitching.
You really think it's that easy and cheap?

The issue with tooling isn't so much the generation of the 3D model, or the 3D printed prototype, but the production of the actual metal tools/moulds needed in the factory. That's my understanding anyway. So even if the pipeline overall is becoming more digital, the actual making of the figure that ends up on the shelf is still the same as a decade ago.
