@depp76 It is the average price for now, yes. I jumped at the opportunity when a French retailer finally told me that the figure would not be distributed in Europe. I have been regularly checking a few local websites for a couple of months now, and what I noticed was that the estimated dates of availability were being pushed back and back.

Has anyone seen a Catra in cat form thats a bit more in scale with the Masterverse figures?
Maybe a 3D print?
I have the Cartoon version but next to the Masterverse it looks more like a house cat than a jungle cat.

@sketchyskeletor Thanks dude! This was quite surprising, I mean I knew EE was "the fastest draw in the universe" when it comes to getting these, but here, wow, this is literally a month after we first saw them at Toy Fair! Ninjor with the reddish demon face gets that little extra, which is not insignificant considering he's never been one of my favorites. Staying on topic, while Ninjor's basic face was well executed despite my relative attachment to him, TC Skeletor's wasn't at all, so his visor kind of saves the day for me. The rest of the figure was otherwise masterfully done. Did you see those claws?! Their texture and, quite unexpectedly, the fact that they are articulated on their own wrists is stunning. As for She-Ra, what can you say, after never really trying to expand her group, now the articulation level had to suffer two points less (the middle section connecting the shoulder to her biceps), a real bummer here as it obviously takes you back to a not so distant past where you really had to fight with your Motuc figures and their own physionomy to get a certain body language. Happy anniversary, She-Ra!

Ninjor is a favourite for me but I really don't want a New Eternia version. Same with TC Skeletor, after thinking Flying Fists was OK they went and did a TC Skeletor where my choice is either a visor or headsculpt I don't want... and I wouldn't like to bet they'll actually do vintage versions of everybody either!

The only one that could still hold my attention at this point is nothing less than a variation of him, which would require digging into the "Eternity Wars" comic series (War Wraith). Mattel need to get a grip. Right now it feels like they're trying to bring in new customers with vintage while also ripping off the old customers with New Eternia crap in the meantime. Even Hasbro have the sense to get the mix right when they're doing that, Mattel can't actually get a wave together!

However, I can see where you're coming from when it comes to their ability to show more cleverness in building their waves as a whole. And it's a shame that the economy has made this hobby so expensive, because I would have been much more inclined to see them license the said franchise to reignite some enthusiasm. Paternity (Mattel) seems to be litterally asphyxiating its progeny right here, whereas third parties have that peculiarity to show more boldness and creativity, which is exactly what we hope for Motu. What wouldn't I give to get some of Axel Giménez's creations, and that is, to name a very short list, the emerging part of the iceberg ...

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong because I like New Eternia for say Randor or concept art stuff, but now it's just 'Here's Fisto in a look that kinda detracts from his name', or 'Ninjor's a demon now!'. It's precisely the wrong time for all that when the line is struggling and everybody knows now to wait for vintage.
As you say, smaller companies have more wit - Jada with it's Street Fighter line is now getting copied by Storm Collectibles who owned and screwed that opportunity. Loyal Subjects got the craved licence for MASK because Hasbro can't get out of their own way, and Ramen Toys are running with KOs. They're carrying on with Bravestarr too. Toxic Crusaders is even back. Meanwhile Hasbro can't make Power Rangers work for them and Mattel are the same with MOTU. It's just corporate nonsense. If their shareholders had any idea how dumb the big two are they genuinely could have a legal case for mismanagement.

All these years I've been an all-in completist collector, but this boring-ass, microwaved vintage collection crap they're pushing on us now has me checking out. Congrats Mattel - great move.

@onlyoneskeletor In MV terms I'm not actually sure I care tbh! Mossy would need to be damn impressive for me to be get hyped because the Revelation one is decent enough.
Ideally I'd like to see weird and whackier characters, whoever they are.
I'm much more interested in who the Origins figures are, truthfully. And I'd love more vehicles however we get them.
@sketchyskeletor I see. As a continuation of the "vehicle/mount theme," Mantisaur will always come first for me, specially at this point in the exploitation of the Origins line. And what better time than She-Ra's 40th anniversary to move forward with that right? As far as the Masterverse is concerned, Moss Man really intrigues me, the possibilities for him to justify the oversized claim are there, as they could mash him up with huge roots just like they started to explore with the Revelation one, not to mention his big ape form he already demonstrated before (200X toyline). They could definitely let their imaginations go wilder and wilder with this one.
