@djfor Why? The MV Stinkor we got is already a great figure. There's not much else that can be done differently with him, so it would be a wasted slot.

Don't say no till you know. if Mattel makes a New Eternia one like this they can take my money 

New Eternia Stinkor? Yeah, I might be down for that... I feel like the Revelation take on him was "almost there" but lacking in a few areas. I would love a new one with more vibrant armor colors and a more detailed sculpt. Give him translucent gas effects that can snap on hands, over his mouth, from his gun, rising up around his body, etc.

Pack in Odiphus as well and MAKE THEM BOTH STINK... and you've got $33 of my MOTU dollars right there.

General question here! I wasn't the biggest fan of some of the revolution figures, so I skipped them in the hopes that they would receive a New Eternia version but now I'm hedging my bets. What do you think are the odds of New Eternia He-Ro and Stinkor are? 

 

They seriously botched He-Ro with those piss poor color choices for the armor and staff. This guy needs to pop... a New Eternia He-Ro could be an improvement in this department... we could even see some vac metal! Also add in some magic blast effects, spellcasting hands and effects... play up the whole wizard angle more than any previous version has to date and make him a far more interesting-looking figure than the one we got in the Revelation line.

That's what inspired me \ has me hoping. I agree with you on Stinkor. I wouldn't mind adding him to my collection at all if that's the only version I'll get, but that version of He-Ro is a bridge too far.  I would love Vac Metal but I'd at least take better gold paint and I think they could add some neat references to the concept art and early versions of He-Ro.

General question here! I wasn't the biggest fan of some of the revolution figures, so I skipped them in the hopes that they would receive a New Eternia version but now I'm hedging my bets. What do you think are the odds of New Eternia He-Ro and Stinkor are? 

 

I'm in the same boat 😀 I am deliberately trying to stick to NE too, just because trying to collect Origins in all of its incarnations, and all of Masterverse, is simply starting to feel a little expensive somehow.

But so far that hasn't been too difficult seeing that a lot of the Revelation figures just weren't all that great. But I do wonder if Mattel will really get around to giving all the main characters the NE treatment... would be a shame to be left with a half-finished roster at the end :-/ So, choices choices.... Stinkor is what, like 10 bucks, so that doesn't feel like a risk at all. But that opens the door to all kinds of other figures 😉

With Revelation it was about 50-50 but from what I can tell the entire fan base is behind New Eternia. Mattel should complete the entire MOTU roster in NE. I think it wise to be Mattel’s focus from now on.

@durendal I have to admit, I haven't physically seen Stinkor, only the pictures.  He just seems a bit... underwhelming to me.  But than it maybe that the pictures don't do him justice.

@depp76 I think they could possibly beef him up a bit.  Perhaps another 'oversize' figure.  The MV Stinkor just seems underwhelming although I have only ever seen pictures not the figure in hand

Not all of the new figures dropped last night.  This was just like the first wave of the new figure drops.  I've heard that the next wave of remaining figures will be later on in the year.

Well, I got 1. Ordered him immediately because he's one of my top 5 favorite characters.  But it sucks for people who missed him. A new one was just listed, $150 BIN or BEST OFFER.

I just want to know what the hell happened with that 1 figure. I seriously doubt he's THAT popular. So why did only that 1 figure become super-scarce in record time???

Now I feel pressured to buy all the figures I don't have yet. I was taking it easy on Masterverse so I could focus on catching up on my Origins collection. Masterverse was always easy as hell to get later. But now I'm worried about this Webstor crap happening to the figures I didn't bother to buy yet. I don't usually have a FOMO problem, especially with Masterverse. But now I do! This is some serious BS!
