MATTEL STUDIOS IS FORMED! The Mattel toy company creates a brand new Film & Television Studio

This week Mattel announced they were combining their film and television divisions to form a brand new studio: MATTEL STUDIOS.

The goal of this new studio is to produce quality entertainment based on their iconic toy brands.

The MATTEL STUDIOS President will be Robbie Brenner, the previous “Mattel Films” President who joined the company back in 2018 and had unprecedented success with the 2023 feature film “Barbie“.

    1. Yet another example that rich people are not smart. A company that cant figure out how to put 2 characters that they own in the same cartoon is going to transform a toy company to a movie studio. We sit here trying to figure out how to eat while these wealth zombies piss away billions in absolutely idiotic investments like this. This is why our species cant have a wealth class. We are too inherently greedy.

  1. I legit thought they already had a studio formed under Mattel films who made Barbie.

On a side note there is out of the properties named in the article for upcoming film adaptations there is one really major Mattel IP not named among the others that I’m assuming has been in development hell because there’s been no news on it since 2020 and it’s surprising because it’s one of their biggest names.

One with decades of history and extremely close to my heart. One that if done right could be a great family film.

Also no Mattel Cinematic Universe please.
