Filming for the new Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films “Masters of the Universe” Movie is currently underway in London.

Even though the actors have been cast and the cameras are rolling, studios often piecemeal their cast announcements through press contacts (versus announcing the entire cast all at once in a press release) to maximize media attention their movie gets. Basically, the more headlines and longer the public is made aware i.e. bombarded with promotional information, the better!
So in addition to the Dolph Lundgren cameo we reported on recently, we suspect there is more casting news to come. And now… a new photo may have proven that.

Ram Man actor Jon Xue Zhang shared a picture of himself via an Instagram story with Fisto actor Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson and Trap Jaw actor Sam C. Wilson striking a pose in their training area. But what we focused on… was the actor headshots on the wall behind them.

From what we can tell, there are other actors prominently featured on the wall between the likes that play Tri-Klops, Goat Man and more that seem to visit this muscle-building training facility as well. Yet… we do not know their names.

So are there additional actors possibly training to become muscled Evil and Heroic Warriors that have yet to be announced? It is definitely a good possibility!
Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is currently underway with the movie scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.
We’ll see you next time!
Am I the only one who thinks the actor playing TrapJaw should be playing TriKlops and the actor playing TriKlops should be playing TrapJaw? 🙃
Regardless, I’m super psyched for this film! Really hoping we get a BeastMan and Shadow Beasts!!
Why are we talking about the actors when we should be talking about that He-Man on Battle Cat photo in the back? It doesn’t look like any piece of art I’ve seen before and could EASILY be used as a teaser poster for the new film. It looks more realistically styled as well. Battle Cat seems to have a redesigned or more 200x styled armor as well.
I could be wrong and its just fan art, but I feel like that’s the true Easter Egg here.
