New Mondo SCARE GLOW Deluxe 1:6 Scale Figure Announced for 2024

We have a new Mondo sixth scale figure on the way!

In addition to the upcoming Teela, Orko and Retro Scare Glow figures on display this past weekend at DesignerCon (read more about it HERE), Mondo had another Masters of the Universe sixth scale figure to promote at the collectibles and pop art convention. Mondo showed the attendees concept art for a new Deluxe Scare Glow sixth scale figure coming in 2024!

And now thanks to The Badass Reviews on Facebook, we have an image we can share! Check it out.

With this announcement, collectors can now look forward to having a new rider for Mondo’s highly anticipated “Nyte-Mare” steed… already announced at Power-Con previously this year. (Read more about the Nyte-Mare HERE.)

The “ScareGlow Deluxe 1:6 Scale Figure” from Mondo is coming sometime in 2024. Stay tuned for details.

Thanks to the terrific community members @smokinya and @skeledog for the ‘heads up’! We’ll see you next time.

  1. Very excited for this one. The Classic variant they sold a few months ago is cool, but doesn’t fit as well with the other characters due to lack of detail. Really dig how much inspiration the Mondo line seems to take from the 200x designs. I’ll have to decide whether or not to sell the Classic variant once I get this guy in house.

    1. Awesome news. I won’t be one of the lucky ones who will get itUnfortunately.

Luck won’t have anything to do with it. This version will be a pre-order like all of the other deluxe figures. So save up those sheckles if you want it! I assume it will be available in the summer or fall since Nyte-Mare is up in the Fall.

I just can not afford it, for sure. It is too much expensive for me.

    1. I’m STOKED. Definite buy. Love what they did with the cape. Looks like some intentional Spawn homage going on.I got a shipping notice on Deluxe Skeletor the 13th. No movement at all. Anyone else got the same thing going on?

@firmpulse if yours shipped from China then I hear its the norm. you get days of no movement then suddenly its rollin

          1. @admin Uhg. That’s terrible. I hope not

I love your reviews btw. You pull a lot of great personality into them.

Thank you very much! I really appreciate that and it makes my day! Since I failed at being the smartest person in the room, personality is all I have 😄, so I’m happy that comes across okay and you have enjoyed them. Thanks again!

          2. @firmpulse I have been hearing (unfortunately) that some have had their figures stuck in customs for a few weeks and at the rarest occasions, require their involvement to push it through. I hope this direct shipment from China isn’t a beginning of a new trend from Mondo…

yeah it stinks. I specifically asked them about adam being shipped from china was a new thing orca on a one off. They said he would be the only one. Weeks later, we deal with it again. This one is even worse than adam. Been 10 days, since dhl recieved info, and nothing. Adam, recieved info and item quick, sat there fir some time, then all of a sudden he was in Michigan.  Dont think any of us will see skeletor until mid/jan because of the awful timing to ship around holidays.

          3. @banthafett I received a follow-up reply from Mondo after further inquiry
“Hey Firmpulse,Thanks so much for reaching back out and we completely understand. We decided to ship these figures straight from the factory in China. It typically doesn’t take this long but our shipping team is actively working with DHL as we speak to get these orders pushed through. You should see some updates in the next few days. I hope this helps!Thank you so much for your patience and please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns!"
            So there we have it…

Damn I haven’t even had the shipping update yet on Skeletor. From my perspective he hasn’t moved at all. Last email I got about it was Nov 30 saying that he was finished QCing and will ship mid December.

It is interesting that they told you Prince Adam shipping direct from China was a one off while repeating it again with Skeletor so soon. Something like this at least appears like it requires some extensive pre-planning to some degree. Switching from palletizing the product and putting it on a freight ship to the U.S….. to receiving all the customers’ shipping information and packing & shipping them individually… feels like too much of a complex transition to be completed on a whim (at least to me). 🤔
