At this year’s Power-Con (held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center at Columbus, Ohio), the collectibles company MONDO has revealed some design art for some brand new upcoming six scale figures… some that have been announced before, and some that haven’t.
And thanks to the good friend of our community, John Mejia over at emerald_knight_photos on Instagram (and also Robby Ray), we have some photos to share. Check them out!
Masters of the Universe: NYTE-MARE – 1:6 Scale Figure
Probably the most interesting figure out of the bunch (solely because Mattel has now endorsed Mondo creating brand new charactes in this IP), is Mondo’s new four-legged figure that has never been seen before on Eternia or Earth until now. It is Scare Glow’s frightening steed, Nyte-Mare!
What may be confusing with Nyte-Mare is there’s already a horse-like character referred to as “Knight-mare” in MOTU lore… no one other than the evil robotic steed known as Night Stalker.
Night Stalker was even referred to as “Knight-mare” (a name originated from the Filmation company) in the 2021 Netflix series Masters of the Universe: Revelation.
But confusion aside, the name is certainly fitting considering its rider.
Now let’s check out the rest of the design art Mondo showed, including a newly announced Sky Sled and Disco Skeletor figure… as well as three characters already previously announced… Evil-Lyn, Orko and Teela! And then there’s the Retro Scare Glow jumbo figure!
Masters of the Universe: SKY SLED – 1:6 Scale Vehicle
Masters of the Universe: DISCO SKELETOR – 1:6 Scale Figure
Masters of the Universe: EVIL-LYN – 1:6 Scale Figure
Masters of the Universe: ORKO – 1:6 Scale Figure
Masters of the Universe: TEELA – 1:6 Scale Figure
Masters of the Universe: RETRO SCARE GLOW – 15″ Inch Figure
And just in case you didnt catch this on our social media pages a few days ago, Mondo will also be offering a limited edition flocked 1:6 Scale Panthor this November! (Photos courtesy of bastardrobo on Instagram.)
No official release dates have been announced yet for these figures (except for Panthor of course), but expect more information and reveals to come as early as this fall.
We’ll see you next time!

If they reissue Classic Scare Glow with a more contemporary head design similar to what we’ve seen with DLX Skeletor it would be most welcome
@firmpulse Wasn’t there a variant release by Mondo with a more contemporary head already? Or are you looking for something even more contemporary like the Scare Glow we saw in Revelation?
@elder
The Classic Variant release.

I liked everything about it other than the head. Had it included an Alt Head that was sculpted in more of a “realistic" style I would have been all over it. I hope they take The Classic Variant, recast DLX Skelly’s head in GITD plastic and reissue it.
I’ve tried really hard to like Revelation “reversed" colorway, but I just can’t get into it. Don’t get me wrong. I think it’s ok. But nothing beats the OG design colorway for me.
@firmpulse More realistic than that one? Interesting mate. So building off a real skull. Mondo could make it truly horrific if they dare go there. I like it.
@elder, Even if they just recast this head I’d be all in. It’s a fantastic sculpt. I guess if he’s “The Evil Ghost of Skeletor" Whether he’s the ghost of OR created by Skeletor in makes some sense.

@firmpulse I see. That would make a good Scare Glow head. You may find that head easily customizable if one of the alternative Skeletor heads satisfies you and Mondo never grants your wish.
Received my Battle Cat yesterday. I can’t stop starring
