Back in 2021, Fisto and Clamp Champ fans across the world shrieked out in terror when watching their favorite Masters of the Universe heroic warriors die in Part Two of the Netflix Animated Series “Masters of the Universe: Revelation.”
And if watching their favorite characters get burned to ashes in a devastating explosion wasn’t bad enough, the honorable and true souls of Fisto and Clamp Champ didn’t even bask in the glow of a heavenly afterlife in Preternia! No, before their souls could get there, Skelegod (embued with the Power of Grayskull) snatched them both and condemned the noble heroes to a hellish torture in Subternia!
SPOILERS AHEAD!
So what happens to Fisto and Clamp Champ (if anything) in “Masters of the Universe: Revolution?” Thanks again to the exciting footage shared at the thrilling roundtable event with showrunner Kevin Smith and Executive Producers Ted Biaselli & Rob David at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the probable fates of Fisto and Clamp Champ were revealed (to any keen-eyed Masters of the Universe fan who watched it.)
In the first “Masters of the Universe: Revolution” clip they showed attendees, it seemed to take place in Subternia… and He-Man and some Heroic Warriors were there!
Without spoiling the entire scene for you, during this clip it appeared like He-Man, Orko, Man-at-Arms (Andra), King Randor and more where seemingly on a rescue mission, punching through into Subternia to fight the evil Scare Glow and his hordes of Shadow Beasts.
What type of rescue mission where they on? It seemed they were fighting to get to the altar of Scare Glow.
And why were they fighting to get there? It appears like, on either side of that altar, are the floating apparitions of Clamp Champ’s and Fisto’s weapons.
Now at the end of the clip, our heroes vanquish Scare Glow and his Shadow Beasts (of course), and after a nice moment between father and son, both He-Man and King Randor start heading towards the altar.
Then the clip ends.
So it looks pretty clear to us that both Fisto and Clamp Champ will, at the very least, be saved from Subternia. Then what? Will their souls just be restored to Preternia…. or will their physical forms be brought back to Eternia? We just don’t know yet. Either way, it is very exciting!

I certainly hope that’s the case. When I read about Clamp Champ’s history, I always wanted to see him in a He-Man show. He’s kind of like a super soilder. I was so annoyed when he only got three minutes of screen time then kill him off.
I’m happy. I think if Preternia is destroyed the only place to bring them back to is Eternia.
