We have some exciting news to break! Thanks to Mill Creek Entertainment, the 2021 children’s animated series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” will be coming to physical media in the form of a DVD set, this October!
Titled “The Complete Series” (unfortunately confirming our reports that the third season was its last) this exciting release will be a 4-Disc Set, containing all three seasons of 26 episodes, with a total runtime of 3 hours and 28 minutes.
In regards to special features, unfortunately, it appears there are none. This 4-disc set will just be a bare-bone release.
Regardless, it will still be exciting for fans of this terrific animated series to have something physical to collect and watch at home, without requiring a streaming service subscription.
“He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Complete Series” will release this Tuesday, October 10th and retail for $19.99.

Yay!!!!! I can’t wait to buy this!!!!!! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Complete series means it is finished yes? AJ you were right! 😭
Well, if there is any more doubt before, I think this pretty much confirms it. Pity, I really liked this version, and I would’ve preferred them to continue making this show. Oh well, maybe we’ll get lucky and there might be books and comics to continue the story.
Hopefully the DVD sell well that they’ll maybe consider a direct video movie for the masters vs evil horde
@trapperjaw I Guess I got something I can put on my birthday list.
Much sad it seems they completed it then, that means She-Ra so far is the only MOTU property not cancelled before completion so far since New Adventures of He-Man! Unless we get all 3 planned arcs of MOTU:R? 😮
@catra That is kind of depressing! 😄 Let’s hope the Revelation, Revolution, Redemption? trilogy finally bucks the trend!
@admin Pretty much. Other than the original series and now The Revelation series, why does almost every other He-Man series get canceled before they get to Hordak? I’m noticing a pattern here. Lol
@deltavax Indeed! I was so relieved that after they teased Hordak in Revelation, we are actually…. no joking here… no, we are not pulling your leg…. getting Hordak! 😄
@admin and he’s going to be voiced by none other than Goliath himself!
Maybe this show changed too much to succeed. Bunches of adult fans were turned off by it and if adult fans won’t give it their time neither will their sons and daughters.
@he-dad Eh, maybe. Personally I found the CGI series much more enjoyable to watch than the New Adventures series they did in the 90s, despite both series are very different to the original.
@deltavax I like it too bro but I just read lots of comments of people not willing to give it the time of day complaining it doesn’t even look like He-Man anymore. New Adventures probably got the same reactions.
@he-dad I’ll agree with them especially on New Adventures. That show looked like a poor knock off between Star Wars and the Legion of Superheroes, except they tried to mesh He-Man into it. The CGI reboot, definitely has Big Hero 6 vibes but I thought they mostly made it work. Oh well, can’t please everyone.
I’d maybe get it if it had come out on Blu-Ray. I liked it, but not as much as Revelation. I hope Revelation at least cones out on Blu-Ray since that was more directed at adults.
