I'd have nothing but respect for you if you were!

Yeah, considering how reluctant studios are to invest in new ideas that might not land, I suspect more and more nostalgic properties are going to become "evergreen" no matter how minor their success once was.

He-Man is a viable brand, so is She-Ra and honestly, I kind of like that they're not yet at Superman or Wonder Woman levels of exposure because a lot of expectations and pressures come with that. Hopefully, Adam and Adora can get their moment in the sun when the right opportunity comes along, and not simply as part of some corporate push to continually have content out, regardless of the quality.
I feel like Star Wars fans would be much happier if there was less content overall, but better quality in what did get put out there. Maybe Star Trek fans feel the same way now too. Lord knows for all their popularity, Superman and Wonder Woman haven't been doing well this last decade. So He-Man and She-ra still being under the radar could be a very good thing.

@eternianbunny you'd still rock it.
But yeah, remakes / reboots have been the "flavor" of the entertainment industry for the past several years. If He-Man and / or She-Ra get picked up for some huge project, I hope they're willing to do it justice.

Ur both sweet thank you. I promise to share a pic of it if a movie happens in 5 years. After that no promises! 😹
It depends: How many Origin toys have you gifted to the kids in your family? DVD sets with the cartoons (or Netflix shows if they are older)? Coloring books from Amazon that are totally not bootlegged inofficial prints *cough 😛 * ? Mattels marketing budget for MOTU outside their own MOTU bubble is about the same value as their janitors pocket lint; so its our job to pass on and share the passion.
And watching kids playing with MOTU is something heartwarming and rewarding in itself already. I'm quite confident those in my fam will remember it in 50 years 🙂 (and I'm quiete sure they will perceive everyone that keeps She-Ra & He-Man as disconnected separate things as an odd weirdo 😇 ).
He-Man and Skeletor are still household names and referenced constantly by others in media. It will have its ups and downs, but will live on. People get Teela and She-Ra confused all the time. Half of people think She-Ra is He-Man's girlfriend.Â
