Hi everyone. I was a fan of the Castle Grayskull playset my cousin had as a kid. My favorite playset that I owned was my My Little Pony nursery. I wish I knew what happened to it. Now my son (4) is very into playsets and I'm thinking of finding a used Grayskull or Snake Mountain and some figures for us to play with. I watched Revelation when it was first out. I could only find one podcast to accompany it. My daughter (7) was watching the new She-Ra animated show the other day and it reawakened my interest and I decided to do a re-watch and searched iTunes in hopes of finding another podcast. Luckily For Eternia popped up and I have been having a blast listening to the episode breakdowns and figure reviews! So I'm currently catching up. I just bought the prequel comic and am looking forward to listening to the comic book interview in episode 4 of the pod. This show is just so fun and I love the positivity and open-mindedness of the For Eternia podcast and community I've experienced so far. I just bought my first Revelation figure (Battlecat) and am going to be buying new Revelation figures leading up to my son's birthday in July. By then we should have plenty of good guys and bad guys to do battle with 🙂 He is going to be so excited. We also have some MOTU Golden books and have been reading them lately. When he sees that He-Man is going to transform he wants to "read" the next part: "By the Power of Grayskull.....I HAVE THE POWERRRR!" So fun.
Sharing hobbies with our kids is the best. Welcome!
Hello and welcome! Haha, I just taught my grandson how to say "By the power of Grayskull!", he even learned to say "I have the POWER". Kids are wonderful! While my kids are all grown now, they still love playing RPG games with me. Ive always have endless stories to tell. That is why one of the big reasons why I wanted to learn this online world. I don't know, maybe there might be some others out there who might enjoy them as well. I thought about just using my grandson's voice as Prince Adam. Just muttering things you have no clue what they are saying but every now and then you hear a word they learned. I have only been here on For Eternia for what feels like a short time, but I'm always here for anyone who is looking to spark up a new friendship.
So... Big WELCOME! I think we could make this For Eternia a really great place to visit,
Welcome Heather!

My sister had that! Can you believe My Little Pony is still a big thing just like Masters of the Universe?

You're hugely welcome to our community, Ms. Heather! 🩷
Also, I love the fact that your kiddos are also becoming fans too. If you need recommendations for other He-Man/She-Ra cartoons, books, comics or media....well, this is THE place to get recommendations or inspiration, everyone here is lovely.
@he-dad Yeah except nothing about the new My Little Pony resembles the old lol. It used to be all sweet little chubby ponies and pastel colors, hearts, rainbows, witches, and magical mushroom wizards but now it's pretty much like every other kids' cartoon. Revelation is for grown-up MOTU fans; I wish there was a My Little Pony: Revelation for us grown up Pony fans! I think it was the Toys That Made Us show that referred to Ponies as "My Little Equestrian Statue" haha and that it wasn't that fun to play with bc it didn't "do" anything, but I loved dressing mine up and playing with them in the nursery just like Barbies 🙂

We have the Power!
Mmmmm... Didn't Mattel start working, or already did recreate the My Little Pony line? None of my sisters had any of those growing up. I never watched any of their shows but I love how Teen Titans Go always makes refrence to it through Raven's favorit toy line and seems very similar.
As far as horses go... There are some great horses out there to collect that will go along with this new He-Man both 5.5 and the 7" line. The more you put into it, the better horses you could own. Mythic Legions byt the 4 Horsemen have some AMAZING horses that would go great with the 7" line and may work for the 5.5... Have not myself bought any of them. Even though I might have a great starting collection, (Not quite as impressive as AJ's), I'm not all money to pour into extra things like that. In fact, I'm trying to sell off some older things to build up some extra funds to be able to put toward the next wave of figures. I also am unemployed do to a back injury I had 15 years ago so being broken has put me in a rough place. I thought maybe getting in and doing some videos may help but I keep feeling like I missed the train to jump on the video success side of things and I'm far behind even knowing what all there is related to social media other then Youtube. Advice would be greatly accepted from all!
