Back in the 80s I never got into the whole ninja craze.  Samurais are more my style. The line is called Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles but I sure am glad that they are pushing the samurai armor. That's the coolest Skeletor ever!  

@sci-fitsunami really Skeletor should be a shogun, but you're right this is easily one of the best Skeletor figures we've gotten.

So my favorite Turtle & my favorite Skeletor are both using nunchucks. That's just too cool!

I want the 4 turtles and that Skeletor in Masterverse.

@sci-fitsunami there's a Skeletor with nunchucks? ToG Skeletor has Kusarigama, basically nunchucks with a blade, although typically only at one end.

Close enough! They're both very similar so he will look great fighting Michelangelo.

I'll probably get more than 1 Skeletor and use them as Skeleton Warrior v2. Swap the body out with Scare Glow or Anti-Eternia He-Man and that could be the greatest figure in Origins PERIOD!

First off, I've seen enough pics of ToG Leatherhead now that I believe that his vest is a Blast-Attak reference. 

Second, it would have been so much funnier if he could wear his hat on top of his spiked kelmet.

After double-checking Blast-Attak's armor, I concede that it isn't an overt reference. There isn't a dial or 1 to 1 shapes. However, the colors are similar and the way it opens up made me think of Blasty opening up. I dunno, I personally see it.

@chrisa to me, Leatherhead looks like one of the ToG figures that could fit into a regular TMNT collection. Shredder and Sla'ker could also go on that list, maybe Metal-Boto too. 2 Bop-Steady could work too if you can imagine an episode of the 80's cartoon involving a portable accident.

@cosmic I just wish they had used the Mutant He-Man wig, for continuity and because it looks better.

@smitty-81 That’s exactly what I feel, too, about this latest wave of ToG. They are more colorful than traditional MOTU, and look more like real Turtles figures. Not so much a 50/50 mashup.

@cosmic I like that this line doesn't do just one thing. If you know the story every figure makes sense and they all fit together. But without the story most of the figures could be some from either brand.
