Actor William Shatner receives an Emmy nomination for ”Masters of the Universe: Revolution”

Keldor received an Emmy nomination!

Several days days ago, nominations were announced for the 3rd Annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards. Specifically dedicated to honoring excellence in children’s television programming, these awards are among a series of “Emmy” awards that recognize artistic and technical merit in the television industry.

This year, when the nominees were announced for the “Voice Performer in a Children’s or Young Teen Program” award category, no one other than the legendary actor William Shatner was revealed as a contender for his amazing work as Keldor in the terrific 2024 Netflix series “Masters of the Universe: Revolution.”

Here are all the nominees for that category:

Longtime readers will probably recall that this isn’t the first time an actor from Kevin Smith’s showrun Masters of the Universe animated series was nominated for an Emmy. In 2022, actor Mark Hamill received a nomination for “Outstanding voice performance in an animated program” for his role of Skeletor in the series “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”. (Unfortunately, Mark Hamill did not win.)

We are extremely thrilled that once again an actor from Masters of the Universe: Revelation & Revolution has been recognized, this time being William Shatner for his spectacular voicework as Keldor. Let’s hope this time he wins!

Winners will be announced on March 15th 2025 in Los Angeles, California. We’ll see you next time!
