Actor Mark Hamill receives Emmy nomination for ”Masters of the Universe: Revelation”

Nominations have been announced today for the first-ever Children’s & Family Emmys and actor Mark Hamill has been recognized for his spectacular voicework in the “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” 2021 Netflix series!

Spearheaded by showrunner Kevin Smith and produced by Ted Biaselli and Rob David, Mark Hamill was spectacularly cast as the titular villian Skeletor, a genius casting decision that didn’t go unnoticed by the National Academy of TV Arts and Sciences (which administers the brand new Children’s & Family Emmys). Today’s nominations for “Outstanding voice performance in an animated program” proved that today when Mark Hamill received the validating nod!

  • Eric Bauza as Bugs Bunny, Marvin the Martian, Daffy Duck, Tweety, “Looney Tunes Cartoons” (HBO/HBO Max)
  • Grey Delisle as Lola, Lana, Lily, Meryl, Cheryl, Scoots, Mopes & Mrs. Bernardo, “The Loud House” (Nickelodeon)
  • Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Masters of the Universe: Revelation (Netflix)
  • Tom Kenny as SpongeBob SquarePants, “SpongeBob SquarePants” (Nickelodeon)
  • Frank Welker as Himself, Fred and Scooby, “Scooby-Doo And Guess Who?” (Cartoon Network)

The first annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards will be presented on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11 at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles.
