I’ll just give my worst, BORDERLANDS!! One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen to boot

My favorite movie was The Wild Robot it was so good y'all. My least favorite was A Family Affair.

My ratings will be based on how the movie met, exceeded, or fell short of my expectations. Not necessarily what I thought was the BEST movie, but in this case, my FAVORITE.

Favorite: Alien Romulus. I was afraid it was going to fall into the recent sequel/prequel Alien films of the past decade. Not that I dislike them, but they aren't on the level of the first two entries. Although there were too many callbacks and one CGI character who was very distracting, it felt like it belonged in the Alien/Aliens universe. Loved the use of practical effects. Far exceeded my expectations. 
Honorable Mentions: Society of the Snow, The Fall Guy, and A Quiet Place Day One.

Least Favorite: Horizon. I like westerns. I enjoy most of Kevin Costner's work. Open Range is one of my favs. But man, Horizon was a jumbled mess. Abrupt edits, a million storylines, and that really odd teaser that showed some of what happened as well as scenes from the upcoming sequel? Very disappointed in this one.
Dishonorable Mentions: Trap, The Book of Clarence, and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (although this one may have been ruined by the loud couple sitting next to us in the theater).

The best movies were Deadpool & Wolverine and Dune.

My favourite 2024 movie was Transformers One; my least favourite Dune - Part Two.

... I loved them both, but these two where the only 2024 ones I watched and I liked TF1 a tiny bit better.

Almost watched Joker 2 though, so I give it an honorary worst 2024 movie I did not watched.
