Pre-Orders for the Mondo TEELA 1:6 Scale ”Timed Edition” Figure begin Tomorrow, April 2nd

She’s here! We finally have ordering information for Mondo’s six scale version of Teela in her most iconic role as the Captain of the Royal Guard!

First, here are all the details of this new Masters of the Universe figure, per Mondo:

“The Teela 1/6 Scale Figure – Timed Edition comes complete with faux fur elements plus an array of weaponry and portraits, including one inspired by Mattel’s 200X line. And of course, we had to include an epic serpent headdress worthy of the Mystic Guardian of Grayskull! 

“Our Heroic Warriors worked a long time to make this figure a reality, and we’re so excited to finally share it with you … Emiliano Santalucia (Concept Design), Mark Bristow (Paint), Hector Arce (Art Direction), Florian Bertmer (Packaging Art), Jordan Christianson (Packaging Design), Raúl Barrero (Photography) and a killer sculpt by In-House Sculptor Extraordinaire Tommy Hodges, who’s sculpted so many of our most popular MOTU figures.

“So what’s Tommy’s favorite part about working on Teela and our MOTU line?

“My favorite aspects of this Teela figure?

1. Has to be her battle-earned physique. She walks a fine line of being graceful, yet also able to kick through a castle door if needed! (Quite different from sculpting the magically powered She-Ra.)
2. Her portraits. She is confident, strong and beautiful all at once. It was tough finding the right look. Thankfully I had great input from the team to get her sculpt to where she is today.

“And as for working on our MOTU line … it’s always fun to push things: larger swords, chunkier armor and of course muscles, haha!”

The pre-order window for the Teela – Timed Edition will be available from Tuesday, April 2 at NOON CT through Friday, April 12th at NOON CT at MondoShop.com.
