Hello all. I am a former He-Man.org user. Mind you I didn't get there as much as I wanted. I was sad to see it go. I am a life long He-Man fan from 83 on. I was 3 when the figures came out in stores. I can remember the days of sitting down and watching the Filmation series whenever it was on. I had a bunch of toys and other items from He-Man when I was a kid. Sadly only some of this has managed to make it through with me in life. The toys got sold at garage sales when needed money for other hobbies. The Power Sword and Shield set not sure what happened to that. I do remember using a pop up little plastic tent that looked like Castle Greyskull. I was also a fan of She-Ra and remember the episode run of Secret of the Sword and renting the VHS many times. I didn't get to see that movie in theaters but I did see the live action 87 movie. I never as a child had an issue with this movie. Maybe because I thought of it as a tale of He-Man. I loved Gwildor, how can you not? My favourite scene with him was when he was drinking the dip for the chicken. The few items I kept got me through the dark ages. I knew about New Adventures and had some of the toys. The show however I only watched some, it wasn't always on in Canada. I would listen to my cassette's of the Secret of the Sword and read along in the books. I strangely have two versions of this. One where it is all on a single tape no book, and the second where it is two tapes and two books. I stumbled across the MYP series by mistake. I was in the US and happened to flip to the Cartoon Network before the 3 part debut. Sadly I didn't get in on Classics life and money at the time would not allow for it. Now that we have both new He-Man and She-Ra I am happy to be an active fan again. I have watched Revolution 6 times since it has come out. I plan on a binge of all 3 parts this weekend.

Great story dude! I know Filmation Skeletor looks campy to us now but I'm surprised Skeletor didn't scare the heck out of you when you were so young!

@he-dad Honestly I've never really been afraid of creepy things. I was an odd kid and now am an even more odd adult.

@dedset13 Thank you for the kind words. I put a lot of thought into my message. I wanted to capture how much this property means to me. I am sure if I ponder and think harder and sort through old photos more stories will come to me.

I hear ya.  Surprisingly, my wife and daughter don't enjoy talking MOTU and other of my geeky hobbies with me..... Weird, lol.
