Don and Leo’s outfits are similar to the first round, but … nicer? More sophisticated? I’m surprised they did a “remaster” of basically the same design idea.

Excited to see Clamp Champ in the mix. This line is going strong!

@chrisa This is so cool. Glad to see this line continue! Would be great if this led to a MOTU/TMNT DVD animation adventure, much like the Batman/TMNT one a couple of years ago

Nice! Looks like Mattel is happy with the line.  So...10 new figures, 3 of which haven't been revealed yet.  3 confirmed turtles, Raph is an easy guess for one of the unrevealed ones.

My predictions:

-The waves will be Snake Men themed, there are a lot of reptiles in that case.

-The Turtles have energy weapons, these will probably be branded as "snake capture" weapons, like in late 200X.

-The Foot Soldier will be a regular figure, the large King Hiss (?) will be part of a build-a-figure.

Donnie's hood is definitely snake themed and Mikey's outfit reminds me of 200X's Snake Capture He-Man so you may be on to something there.

However the Foot Soldier top is King Hiss' alternate human torso. He's going to be a deluxe figure the sign under him says he'll be a Wal-Mart exclusive. (ugh!) Don't see anything about store exclusive for the big mutated Ninjor though. Could he actually be a regular wave figure just with more accessories like Casey? The wings do seem to be the same as Hordak's

While I like that the line will continue I'm gonna have to back off from completion collecting and pass on the variants. Well most of them That Snake Shredder is just too cool! Why does Leo get an extra variant?

"Snake Hunter" Donatello has a new belt and uses Mikey's torso and straps.

First off, that is the most badass that Mekaneck has EVER looked!

Second off, Rattlor's neck piece is his HEAD. He's spitting out his own ooze-covered skeleton. Nasty!

Last unrevealed figure at the TMNT panel.

No surprises here.

So looking at it again, Raph's armor is based on Snake Armor He-Man, while Mikey's is based on Snake Armor Skeletor.

Snake Armor Raph looks awesome. I love his do-rag mask and he's got that new belt that "Snake Hunter" Donnie has.

Mekanek has a interesting design, but I'm not really seeing much TMNT influence there. Kinda looks like he has a shell/shield on his back but otherwise it's just a Mekanek in new armor and not even ninja/samuarai armor. Or is hie supposed to be mutated and the ooze affected his cybernetic parts?

Likewise Clamp Champ seems more like they made a Snake Hunter (ala 200X) variant of him. He kinda has a shell themed shoulder pad and bracer but otherwise it doesn't really say TMNT crossover figure. I have to wonder if these were meant to be anti-Snake Man variants for the regular line that got shifted into Turtles of Grayskull. I mean a while back the word was the crossover line was only planned for one year. So maybe when they decided to keep it going they made quick alterations to have something to put out while they worked on new ones.

Now King Hiss and Ninjor would suggest otherwise, at least for those particular figures. Although, there was that whole "Emperor Hiss" bit in the Eternia mini-comic....

I'm digging the new TOG stuff. I might need to get two King Hiss figures for a couple of Foot Soldiers, then I'll be able to create a Hiss twice as huge!

@2uki four will be my number. I'll use the King Hiss parts on normal King Hiss and just use these as Foot Soldiers.

The next batch of ToG are pretty mind-blowing. I wasn't expecting this line to go past the wave with April, Hordak, etc, so this was a huge surprise for me. I love the innovation here... Rattlor and Ninjor being chef's kiss, especially. Mekaneck is giving me New Adventures vibes for some reason. I don't like the maniacal crazy face head they chose to go with for Clamp Champ, but love everything else about him. Not sure I have much use for the variants of the four turtles. They might be the ones I just end up getting for the mini-comics and some of the accessories, but end up selling off the bucks. Now I'm hoping we get more... would love to see an insane re-interpretation of Tung Lashor or Ssssqueeze, and "Vs. Snakemen" style variant of Teela (a chance to bring in that cobra armor, but do something kind of crazier with it and her weapons?), gimme a mutated Tri-Klops... just keep the weirdness coming, please... it's exciting!
