So they just showed a sneak peak of the Teela in the Turtles of Grayskull line and it is incredibly disappointing to me to say the least. It seems it's the same old Wave 1 buck we have seen on both versions of Teela, both versions of Evil-Lyn and the Goddess figure just with a turtle themed armored on top. The turtle armor doesn't look the best but that's not even my issue. They could have at the very least tooled a new female body in the line. They've tooled such few parts for females in this line it is incredibly frustrating.

All female figures in this line and the WWE line use the Teela arms except the two Sorceress figures (She-Ra and Chyna also have unique upper arms to be fair). Both versions of Teela, both versions of Evil-Lyn, Snake Teela, Becky Lynch and Stephanie all use the same pelvis piece. They all use the same boots as well except Snake Teela and the WWE figures. Lady Slither uses them as well.

Now I don't mind the reuse of generic parts like arms and legs and boots but it's just annoying how all the female figures look almost identical with different colors. It makes sense for the vintage Teela and Evil-Lyn as that's how they were in the vintage line but this line has expanded on the vintage line so there's no reason to keep doing that. The vintage She-Ra had her own bracers but they gave her Teela's in this line for example.

As someone who collects the female figures in this line primarily this is just incredibly frustrating. I hope we at least get a fully tooled April in the Turtles line. And I hope this Teela at least has a new headsculpt under that helmet. I wish they'd also given her the Snake Teela buck with human colors instead of the regular Teela buck but it doesn't seem like it. I am not keen on the cartoon collection but I am glad it will at least give us more unique female figures.

I would love to see it. Is there an image of the Teela figure online? Can you attach it to this thread?

As far as I know there isn't an image of the toy. The OP is probably making assumptions from the artwork from the Mouse-Jaw card art, which does look like a standard teela in turtle armor, but Man-at-arms is similar and he's a new tool. Its too early to react yet imo.

@alexisskrull Only Man-At-Arms' head is a new tool which is fine because the male bucks are generic enough that they only need a new armor. The female bucks on the other hand are not. I hope I am wrong but it's most likely the same old Teela buck. The arms and legs are already clearly the same. I hope she has a new head under that helmet which is also hopefully removable.

Teela appears in the first TMNT mini comic with the Donatello figure and it seems she puts on that armor on top of the normal Teela buck after all. The designs in the minicomics and card arts are usually pretty accurate to the toy.
