Way back in August 2023 at the Power-Con in Columbus, Ohio, Mondo teased concept art for a new Masters of the Universe Evil-Lyn 1:6 Scale Figure. Since then, over a year and a half later, fans have been patiently waiting for this figure to see the light of day. Well now, Mondo has finally revealed pictures of the actual figure and ordering details. First revealed by Pixel Dan on YouTube, this Mondo Masters of the Universe EVIL-LYN 1:6 Scale Figure will be a timed release. We have the Power!
Which makes me love it even more that they're cooking up something for the 200X era in 1/12th scale.
I absolutely love Mondo’s MOTU line and this figure is no exception - EXCEPT for how insanely huge and expensive they are. When I heard they were doing a 1:12 line it was like all of my wishes came true but then I heard it was based on the 200X series and … I mean I love that series - but I’d rather have Mondo 1:12’s of all of the already released 1:6’s they’ve made.
That said, I’ll probably try to grab the new 1:12 lone if for nothing else in hopes to support them making other 1:12 figs - 12” figures have little to no where to go for most collectors and by default limit the number anyone could potentially amass
I as well would be interested in a 1/12 version of their 1/6 figures if they spread them out.
Mondo cooking as always. Wasn’t sure how Evil-Lyn would turn out since I’m definitely more partial to her 200x look. That being said, I’ll get my 200x Lyn with the 1/12 line anyways. I do wish she had a head with more hair though. I don’t like the look of the short cut. Love all the soft goods she comes with and adding Screeech is a nice touch. Hoping to have some wicked 1/6th figures come out this year.
@skeledog what do you mean by that? Did your Teela have some weak joints and broken pegs?
